And according to the left (see Kavanaugh confirmation hearings), unsupported accusations from the dim past must be believed, right?

. . . prison guards too exhausted from working overtime to check on Epstein every 30 minutes as required, cameras malfunction. What an amazing collection of coincidental screw-ups.

Maybe there is something to it... A lot of people have suddenly revised their stories about Epstein, and are trying to tell us they never liked him, and didn't know him very well, even as videos appear of Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, and other famous people with him, in some cases, partying with beautiful young women.

Surely that's grounds for impeachment, um?

Thirty-Two Short Stories About Death in Prison
These stories don’t mention Jeffrey Epstein, but they are about him.
Ken White
Attorney and former federal prosecutor

Jeffrey Epstein’s name and face are everywhere following his death. Even as an investigation reveals that the Metropolitan Correctional Center, where he died, was terminally short-staffed and relied on untrained guards who failed to monitor him, conspiracy theories persist. Americans who believe in their justice system assert that it is obvious that he was murdered, and that jailers could not possibly be so incompetent, cruel, or indifferent as to let such a high-profile prisoner commit suicide.

Here, to help you evaluate that claim, are 32 short stories about in-custody deaths or near-deaths in America.

These stories don’t mention Jeffrey Epstein, but they are about him. Epstein was incarcerated in the United States of America, and this is how the United States of America, the mightiest and richest nation there is or ever has been, treats incarcerated people. When you say, “There is no way that guards could be so reckless, so indifferent, so malicious as to just let someone as important as Epstein die,” this is how 32 Americans respond. Many, many more could respond in kind.

The stories are at the link. They're hard to read, but they should be read.

It turns out, we don't spend much time or money on taking care of people in jails or prisons. The Epstein thing looks awfully suspicious, given who he might have incriminated. A good reason to be concerned, are people who are now telling us how they never liked him, and hardly knew him.

Epstein knew a lot of secrets about very powerful people, but until we know for sure there's no way he could have committed suicide, maybe this simply comes down to he wanted out on his own terms and the system let it happen.

4chan post appears to have detailed Jeffrey Epstein's death before news broke

Joan E. Solsman 2 hrs ago

An anonymous post to the notorious 4chan imageboard on Saturday appears to have provided details of Jeffrey Epstein's death before the first news reports of the disgraced financier's suspected suicide. The 4chan post, which was earlier reported by Buzzfeed News, was published more than a half hour before the initial news reports that Epstein, who was held on charges of sex trafficking, was dead.

Judging from the press I keep seeing it looks to me like the media hates Musk more than Epstein, Weinstein, and Bankman-Fried put together.

Why do you think that is? Elon must really be bad huh?
