CASS COUNTY, Ind. (WNDU) Indiana has a new coronavirus hot spot. It’s Cass County where an emergency order now requires the use of a face mask while shopping at essential retail stores.
In a news release officials with Logansport Memorial Hospital said: "With this surge in positive cases, Logansport Memorial Hospital is not equipped with enough staff or resources to care for everyone. Patients who are hospitalized for COVID-19 illness are needing to stay longer in the hospital for ongoing medical care, due to the severity of their symptoms. Please be aware that at this time, individuals with injuries or illness other than COVID-19 may be sent or transferred for care to hospitals in surrounding counties, due to the volume of COVID-19 positive patients at Logansport Memorial Hospital."
New emergency orders allow one person per family to shop at essential retail stores at the same time and customers under age 16 won’t be allowed in.
Retailer stores must also limit the total number of customers to two per 1,000 feet of square footage.

Despite the President's claim in March that "anyone who wants a test can get one," America has never recovered from the CDC's bungling in the roll-out of this nation's version of the COVID-19 test, missing out on the opportunity to monitor the pandemic in its early stages and possibly containing its spread!
Most testing has been reserved for those displaying flu-like symptoms, but its the "asymptomatic" carriers that can infect others while never showing signs themselves, that need to be identified before health authorities can effectively combat the virus!
Some health experts are calling for 5 million tests daily, as compared to the current the grand total of 6 million tests to date - less than 2% of America'population!

Northern New York - my county has 61 confirmed cases and 0 deaths

Jan. 22: "We have it all under control. Its one person coming from China."
Feb. 26: "The 15 cases within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero."
"Spread contained" - that's the same claim this President made on January 22nd and February 26th - fast forward to May 1st with over 30 million recently unemployed, 1.1 million testing positive and 64950 deaths!
Without testing, "ok doser," like this President, is merely spouting meaningless, self-serving, "feel good" reassurances!
