Does Luke 19:44 disprove Preterism?

When did the resurrection of 1 Cor 15:23 happen?

70AD.

Christ Jesus was first in 30AD.

Then the dead were raised in 70AD, and entered the kingdom, where Christ Jesus sat down on His throne.

Since 70AD, it's kind of been like a continuous "rapture" of those in Christ who have physically died.

Who witnessed dead being raised in 70 ad?

Christ Jesus

(Rev 1:5) And from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood

BTW, Notice the "ruler of kings on earth" is in the present tense.

The problem remains. If this has been and is the culmination of the Kingdom, not only do things inexplicably grow worse by the day (even hardened God deniers can see that), there's no looking forward to it getting any better because this is it. This is the reign of Christ.

So you admit that your agreement is with hardened God-deniers?

Who witnessed the dead raised in 70? Josephus?

What makes you think humans could see the dead being raised?

You've been brainwashed by too many Dispensational cartoons like the following:

mysteryboy,

Did anybody eyewitness the resurrection of Jesus?

If no, what makes you think someone saw the dead being resurrected?

(Matt 27:52-53) and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. 53 They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people.

Again, I have no idea if anyone saw the dead being raised in 70AD.

In the above verse, dead people rose out of their graves, and walked into Jerusalem.

There is nothing written about this anywhere other than Matt 27

So, if there is nothing written about these people coming out of the graves and walking into the city, what makes mysteryboy think there has to be something written about the dead being resurrected in 70AD (if indeed people saw it)

You sure try your hardest to be a teacher of falsehood, don't ya?

How, by quoting scripture?

You have offered absolutely nothing so far except accusations and name calling.
I know you can do better.

Please explain, to the best of your ability, Matt 27:52-53 and what happened to these resurrected saints.

There is no such thing as an "earthly kingdom".

Christ Jesus made it clear that His kingdom is not of this world.

No, you spam that "made it clear that His kingdom is not of this world" satanic assertion on every thread, you deceiving punk, on marching orders from your father, the devil, and his satanic "interpretation" of it, but the only thing "clear" is that your father the devil keeps telling you to spam it, even though dispensationists, and non dispensationists, have refuted that "interpretation."

God.

It is a spiritual kingdom, after all.

More sophistry, as he "argues" that "spiritual," is the opposite of "literal."

Pay attention-the opposite of "spiritual," is not "literal," but "natural," as you, as most Preterists, provide a false dichotomy.

Wally used to say the same things all the time, as we sat around the checker board...."crystal clear", "fulfilled in Christ Jesus".

Who said Jesus Christ was in Jerusalem in 70AD?

You did.

Taken from John w well-documented responses from tetelestai:
"Tet is a preterist that believes Christ already returned in 70 AD via the Roman Army."-Tambora, on another TOL thread

Tet: "Correct, and thanks for making it clear that it was the Roman army that was His return."

Tet: "The Roman army destroyed Jerusalem in 70AD. That is what Jesus meant when He said He will return."

Tet: “And that is what happened. The Lord came in a way that everyone could see Him.”
