Exactly. And that is what these Trump supporters seem to think--that the Party is on their side. Of course, that is what the Party wants them to think, but they're being played. What's amazing to me is that even though people like @marke admit that Republicans have been compromised and are part of the Deep State™, he still feels the duty to support them. That's the best kind of dupe to have--the kind that still supports you even after they've figured out that you've duped them.
I support candidates who I believe will better protect and support what is right than their opponents. I have not voted for a democrat in years even though I don't vote republican as if loyalty to a party is more important than loyalty to God.

I was not a Trump supporter originally but I grew to appreciate his ability to deal with long festering problems, especially in Foreign Affairs.

The primary losses of better candidates than Trump, coupled with the fact that Trump was opposed by every barbarian savage in the leftist socialist-communist party drove me to support Trump in the 2016 election, thank God.

tRump was right on China, but he alienated most of our closest allies. For example, he trashed NATO whilst simultaneously schmoozing up to Putin. So it is no surprise that with Biden in office, the reputation of the USA has improved around the world:

The global image of the United States has vastly improved since President Joe Biden took office compared to all-time low ratings under former President Donald Trump's leadership, new data released by Pew Research Center on Thursday shows.

In six countries - France, Germany, Japan, Italy, the Netherlands and Canada - positive opinions of the US grew by at least 25 percentage points, returning to the high ratings seen during the Obama era.

Overall trust in the US president within the international community hit historic lows under Trump. The Pew study showed that with Biden, the numbers have rebounded to pre-Trump levels.

Around 75% of people surveyed expressed confidence in Biden to do the right thing when it comes to world affairs. A year ago, only 17% said the same for Trump.

Only an idiot would think seeking to appease and support unrepentant nations openly promoting violence against innocent Americans is a good thing. America does not need to look good to the world. American leaders need to do good for Americans and be found seeking to please God.

The two powers that matter in Europe are Germany and Russia. Germany because of its economy, Russia because of its existing energy sector and the enormous potential energy reserves that will be exploited as the permafrost melts. And its military.

The rest of Europe is so rotted by decades of socialism that it doesn't matter anymore.

Pay me a diplomat's salary and I'll be glad to act diplomatically.
Vindmann was overpaid to clerk for the US diplomatic mission to Ukraine but the bozo did not know what he was doing and ended up being fired by his superiors for dereliction of duty, incompetence, and violating his oath of office, among other things.
