We must be the Prime Mover of that government change. Our religious orders are a type of sign to us that all activity is undergirded by prayer: the contemplative order is not separate from the active order. We must also pray and act.
If, of the one million abortions that will take place this year, even one soul contemplates that not everyone thinks abortion is OK, because of all the hubub, then maybe that one soul will find another solution and one more life will have been saved. That one life is worth all the effort every single year we battle this evil among us. Never quit. Never give up. Only in eternity will we meet the souls saved by our prayers and battle.
At the judgement, 55 million (to date) souls will rise up to condemn our generation. God help us, lets have some rise up to be a witness that we tried to stem the tide.
