God's word is good. The Law is good. It is God's instruction to us and for us. A command that is good can only when obeyed in faith be good. Our works are the things that we do. A good work is good not bad. A work according to the Law (in that the Law is about love of God and love of our neighbor) is neither less nor more than obedience to any other command of God found in scripture or given by instruction according to God's Spirit.
Do not let that which is for you a good thing be spoken of as evil.
Blessed is the man who does not sin in what he approves.
Without faith all of our works amount to nothing.
Salvation is not by works, but good works are good.
If a person thinks they are good by observing the Law, they are wrong. If a person thinks they are good because they observe Jesus' commands, would they still be wrong?
Who is good but God alone?
A person being good is a different subject than if good works are good.

observing the Law is not a good work. in Acts 15, the Holy Spirit PROHIBIT us to observ the Law. it is not the Holy Spirit talking through Luke, it is the Holy Spirit talking directly himself. we can not observ the Law since is direct desobedience to the Holy Spirit. also Paul make it clear that those in obedience to the Law are dammed, and the work of Christ became null for the.
NO, we can not choose to be obedient to the Law. that leadss to a very poor spiritual life. and the best example is practicing tithe. christians tithing live in constant sin. pastors teacching to tithe are lieing every day. denominations practicinf tithe are apart from christ.

The commands related to the Gentiles because of the Jerusalem council ARE found in the Law.

Yes. not to eat blod. It is totally and absolutely to observ any other commandment of the Law. It is totally and absolutelly prohibited to pracrice and teavh the tithe. Tithing leads to be dammed.

Perhaps someone has already said this as I have not read the entire thread.
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Acts 10:38
All you have to figure out is, what all did Jesus do? And there you have what are good works.
Would getting up early in the wee hours of the morning to pray and be close to Our Father be good?
Would giving thanks for all things before even asking for what is wanted good?

How is it working out for you? All the law hangs on what the Lord Jesus Christ quoted from Deuteronomy and Leviticus. And Exodus and on and on.

we must and more important, we can imitate Jesus. Jesus lived by faith (not being omniscient), lived in the power of God (not being omnipotent) doing good things. we must and we can do the same.
