How could this be true? Guns are for killing right? That's a lot of defective guns.In the 23 years from 1990 to 2013, the absolute number of homicides in the United States fell by 60% despite an increase in population of more than 26% (from 249 million to 315 million) and a more than doubling in the number of guns owned by US residents from 130 million to more than 300 million. If guns are the problem, shouldn't homicide rates have more than doubled over this period of time instead of significantly declining? Mike Rosen 850 KOA radio on Facebook
