What's your take on the stock market?

You give money to rich people, they get richer and you wager for the same.
Same difference from casinos sans the bells and whistles.:idunno:

It is Erev, Evening. It is Laylah, Night. It is the Third Month. It is the Tenth Day of the Month.

You need to know that money has value, but that a person could potentially do something that is not appropriate to do with numbers. Coin, cash. Do you accept these? The Currency of the United States of America. What value would there be in the Stock Market? Do not speak against anything good. Do not fail to speak against something bad if you are called upon God to do so. People should not seek to get rich.

I said
Of course I am. Because the new testament is based on better promises.

[Heb 8:6-8
6 But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.
7 For if that first [covenant] had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.
8 Because finding fault with them, He says: "Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah--

It is Erev, Evening. It is Laylah, Night. It is the Third Month. It is the Tenth Day of the Month.

Be sure not to say anything that is not in Scripture.

You could save yourself/all of TOL much time, if you just confined your thread topic, to telling us what you are not against.

Can you dig it?

I know, I know....You do not understand what I'm saying....

Cricket....Cricket....

It is Erev, Evening. It is Laylah, Night. It is the Third Month. It is the Tenth Day of the Month.

Incorrect. I know exactly what I am saying. Someday you will be called upon by God to speak against something that is not of God, unless you live your life in righteousness without addressing the world you do not know much about. Maybe that is what you are saying. It is okay to not know about the world. But a prophet should either speak against the evil or build up those who know the truth. However, I have been exposed to computers and I do speak against evil in the world as well. God is not against you. The only way to make God against you is to sin or to sin with knowledge of what you are doing.

I'm sure you're aware of the financial distribution basics of commerce.
What's to unpack?

No, you asserted:

So, when you buy an equity, you are arguing that you are giving your money to rich people? Explain. You do understand, that when you buy a stock, there is a seller, "on the others side," do you not(like any commodity, good, service...)? Are you "arguing" that you are buying stocks from rich people, who store these stocks, in their safe? 'Splain it to us, Lucy.

You are telling a Jew to sit. You said that I am babbling. What is babbling NADA?

Please have regard for your fellow man.

I dig that song by Eric Clapton.

Interesting. Laylah or Layehlah. It means Night. The question is if the sheva is pronounced or not. In Hebrew sometimes a sheva is not pronounced. A sheva is not a letter, it is a vowel or vowel mark. This is not about a person named Laylah. It is also not about nirvanah or humanism if that makes sense to you. Ever been to a garage sale or a yard sale?

This is not how to spell Night in Hebrew. Commonly confused or misunderstood however. Thank you for bringing it up for those who might need to know the difference. Remember, don't mislead people with this. It is not how to teach Hebrew or keep someone from becoming Hebrew by attaching them to something of the United States of America. Or, where was it written?

T'is simple, you buy stock usually through a brokerage...fees, commission et al. Either betting on the stock rising or falling depending on strategy. The monies exchange hands. The particular "how's" hold little interest (no pun intended) to me...rather it's the motivations I'm more interested in!

This is a moral argument not an investment one.
