Because they don't actually believe anything they say. They're of the Left, and Job #1 is to weaken Western society in order to replace it.

That explains all the the otherwise unexplainable confluences...celebrities whining about little people's carbon output while flying on personal jets...homosexuals marching in support of abortion...leftist "Christians" merging into Chrislam and pushing homosexuality...feminists saying nothing about FGM or the real "patriarchy" of Mohammedans...etc.

Taken in isolation, NONE of these make much sense. But viewed as different fronts of the Left's war on all of us, they make perfect sense.
