Michael Knowles had drawn a parallel between the Lindsay Clancy case and the OJ Simpson case. He likened the OJ trial to Black activists, after achieving everything Black activists had wanted from the Civil Rights era, implying that they also needed to get away with murder. That's how the females defending Clancy seem to him, iow, like, "As feminists, we have achieved everything we said we wanted; but we also want to get away with murder." It was an interesting thought.
