Deuteronomy 6:16

16 “You shall not put the Lord your God to the test, as you tested him at Massah.

Satan asked Jesus to do a miracle and Jesus quotes this passage not to put the Lord to the test. i never understood this. wasnt Jesus doing miracles all the time? you also have people like Elijah and the 12 doing miracles. whats the difference in doing a miracle and testing the Most High?

which ones?

All miracles including the ones done through Jesus.

"Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know." (Acts 2:22)

Since God is Spirit he always does his work in the physical realm through humans.

God can do anything through any one of us when he chooses, just as he did with Jesus.

Don't short change God's power referred to as his holy Spirit.

Exodus 7:11
Then Pharaoh summoned the wise men and the sorcerers, and they, the magicians of Egypt, also did the same by their secret arts.
