Dear President Trump:

Below are seven suggestions which will accelerate your popularity while infuriating your critics and putting them on the defensive at the same time:

Pardon all non-violent federal drug offenders.

Fire Mike Pompeo and John Bolton.

Propose not only another tax cut but serious spending cuts as well.

Pay down the national debt.

Announce to each country in the world that you will reduce US tariffs to zero if they will.

Increase the child deduction.

End the federal war on marijuana.

Mr. President, these proposals will confound your critics, expand your base, and go a long way toward fulfilling your pledge to Make America Great Again. Seize the day!

Forgive student loan debt for anyone who makes a career of public service. Allow for a reduction of the debt by ten thousand a year for the first five and completely for ten. That or allow it to be a part of bankruptcy proceedings.

Or get the government out of public education entirely....

I will disagree with some of the ideas as to things Trump should do.

1. I disagree with any form of lowering the standards of public morality in any form or shape. One of the main reasons our nation is in the trouble it is in is because we have been lowering standards of decency/morality for a long time. Any time we remove legal support for moral behavior we increase immorality and encourage destructive behavior.

2. The basis of what Trump laid out in his tarrif policy is fairness for both sides. We've been on the receiving end of the tarrif issue for many decades. We've been giving other nations what amounts to free access to our markets while they subsidize their own products and charge us high tarrifs on our products. Trump has said fairness is what he is looking for, and you see what the response has been both internally and externally.

3. I don't think Trump is going to get anyone better in his cabinet because the only people being pushed on him are CFR members, and the CFR agenda has always been antithetical to what he says he wants to do. The CFR has been pro one-world government since it's beginnings, and Trump's agenda is not compatible with that. So, he ends up with people in his cabinet who fight him at every step. That he has accomplished as much as he has is nothing short of miraculous in my eyes.

4. Trump cannot unilaterally cut the debt and spending. He is required by law to follow the spending Congress puts in place. He can veto their spending bills in their entirety, but he can't do it item by item. This makes me really curious to see what happens on the next budget go-round with Congress. In the last one the RINO's and Democrats got together and passed a budget spending act in such a manner as to make it almost impossible to overcome by presidential veto as Congress would have just over-ridden his veto by passing it again.

Indeed. The House needs to begin impeachment hearings BEFORE the election.

Someone needs to introduce the next generation of House Resolution 803 so the we American public can see the evidence available.

H.Res.803 - Resolution providing appropriate power to the Committee on the Judiciary to conduct an investigation of whether sufficient grounds exist to impeach Richard M. Nixon, President of the United States.

Authorizes the House Committee on the Judiciary to investigate fully and completely whether sufficient grounds exist for the House of Representatives to impeach President Richard M. Nixon.

States that the Committee may require, by subpoena, interrogatory, or otherwise, the furnishing of such information as it deems necessary to such an investigation. Provides that such authority may be exercised by the chairman and the ranking minority member acting jointly or by the committee acting as a whole or by subcommittee.

Stipulates that any funds made available to the Committee on the Judiciary may be expended for the purpose of carrying out the investigation.

It very possibly could, if the House would just get going with hearings.

And why shouldn't it happen? Trump's done far worse than Nixon.

He isn't going to resign...I didn't say anything about him being impeached....

Since we are on the subject, when is Pelosi and Schumer going to get impeached or resign? Not gonna happen either... Bunch of dirtbags

Pelosi Charges Coverup
Michael S. Rozeff

“…and we believe that the President of the United States is engaged in a coverup.” charges Pelosi, the Democratic Speaker of the House.

This is new evidence that the Democrats will impeach Trump.

The Democrats are entirely cynical in issuing their subpoenas. Coup #1 has failed. They are doing coup #2.
Their current strategy is to harass Trump, then to label his resistance as a coverup. They have issued a raft of other smears, so why not this one?

There is not a scintilla of sincerity in anything Pelosi is saying about Trump. She and her co-conspirators are digging their own political graves.

Pelosi is desperate to ward off the coming pro-Trump tide. She looks nervous, sweaty and out of her element. Open conflicts are not her game. She’s a backroom politician, secretive, a creature of the House.
This shot over the bow of the U.S.S. Trump is a declaration of war between Pelosi and Trump. This is why Pelosi is nervous.

Expect Trump to respond, but also expect his response to be unconventional and surprising.
The tragedy is that neither coup #1 nor coup #2 was necessary.

The whole battleground has been manufactured. Instead of debating issues on their merits, the Democrats have made Trump the issue, first by a fake charge of collusion with Putin and now by an equally fake charge of coverup.

As the Democrats escalate their demands for documents, Trump has firmer and firmer grounds for accusing them of undermining the Separation of Powers, undermining the election, playing dirty politics, overstepping their powers, going on fishing expeditions that are unconstitutional, and interfering with the execution of his duties. This means accusing them of treason and failing to live up to their oaths of office. Pelosi has started a very dangerous war.
