5 "What Ifs", from Genesis, To Think About:

WHAT IF:

1) The Adam of Genesis 2 & 3 was not "the first man" that GOD Created;

2) Cain did not marry his sister, nor his neice, or even a cousin;

3) The "sons of God", in Genesis 6, were not Angels ('fallen' or otherwise);

4) Noah's 3 sons were Triplets;

5) It didn't take Noah 120 years to build the Ark.

Is what you believe about these 5 things really Scriptural/Sound? What are your thoughts on any or all of them???

By your rationale, should I then stay away from, "Then said David to Jonathan, Who shall tell me? or what if thy father answer thee roughly? (1 Samuel 20:10 KJV)

Because it is a trial, and what if the sword contemn even the rod? it shall be no more, saith the Lord GOD. (Ezekiel 21:13 KJV)

For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? (Romans 3:3 KJV)

What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: (Romans 9:22 KJV)" . . . Because, after all, they are "written"?

More believable than evolution for me anyways

And me as well, Nonon! Evolution is its own worst enemy; if man "evolved" from monkeys, then that means a infinite number of monkeys didn't get the memo, huh?

7) Genesis 2 is about covenant.

I can't express my thoughts on any of them without a quote for an evidence.

All of those beliefs are scripturally sound. Off hand though, I can't think of a reason why Noah's son couldn't be triplets. It is 6 am though so someone met me know if I'm forgetting. I do think Cain and Abel were twins though. That doesn't really affect doctrine, just an observation.
