doser responds to eider's retarded claim that "the whole world needs to rebuild itself again"

eider lies:

no, that's a lie

what I said was "I don't consider 9/11 the end of the world, an example of the sky falling, an example in which the whole world needed to rebuild itself again"

eider lies again:

another lie

what I said was "Japan and Germany were the first examples that came to mind of countries that truly did need to be rebuilt again"

you really should stop lying

On the side........
You do seem to enjoy describing members as 'shrieking' etc.

If you want to see a typical example of hysterical squealing, just glance at your post, above. I know you a little better, now.

ok doser

lifeguard at the cement pond
I'll tell you again that this is going to change the world somewhat......

in fact, this is the FIRST time you've used measured language like that instead of the hyperbolic nonsense to which I first responded

so perhaps there is hope for you after all

now if we could just get you to work on that problem you tend to have with lying

The fear mongering is entering epic proportions. Tens of millions of people will die? That remains to be seen. As of today.

Coronavirus Cases: 218,175

Deaths: 8,937

Recovered: 84,383

The death rate is 4.09% is way higher than the flu. This is a serious matter not to be taken lightly and people need to take every precaution possible. But this is not the Black Death or the Zombie Apocalypse. People need to calm the heck down.

The death rate is over 11% in Italy which appears to be the result of a healthcare system being overwhelmed by sheer numbers!

The irony is that Italy has a world class healthcare system with more doctors and hospital beds, on a per capita basis, than the US!

Given that the COVIR-19 test kit fiasco may have lulled many Americans into a false sense of security given that the magnitude of the pandemic has yet to be determined, even the best healthcare system in the world can be negated by a lack of ventilators, testing, masks, gowns, hospital beds and sufficient medical staffing!

Yes........
What do you think of our financial support packages for employees, self-employees, small and large businesses? If we can streamline the finances to reach the needy then this will be very impressive, I think.

Boris has handled this well imo. He's handled the news flashes well. He could be another darkest-hour leader..... maybe?
Oh....... and I didn't vote blue! :D

Well, it was a necessary step really but certainly welcomed. As of last night a good friend of mine is out of work until pubs are allowed to reopen and it's not just the lack of wages that are going to significantly affect people but social contact itself. Trying times.

The vaunted socialist healthcare that all the stupid tools want

You've got to hand it to the "science" gang.

On one side we have Trump. His "racist" curtailing of Chinese travel while the stupid jerks on the Left were still crying about impeachment saved this country's hide, and our free market healthcare is doing great.

On the other side you have the dumb Italians embracing the Communists and their socialist medicine and they are dropping like Michael Moore on a 10k run.

And who does the Left attack? Trump. lol

Complete tools.

Yes..... think of that....... Every Pub closed down, for the first time in 'forever'. Unless you can say different...?
I remember when all pubs were closed in Wales on Sundays, but you could call and buy a drink if you had walked a certain distance.

Despite a childhood sitting in pub child-areas during opening hours, I never did become a 'regular' in later life. My wife and self are very quiet, socially; we tend to focus on each other and our pets and animals and don't go out much. Hence this isolation and any lock-downs are not too bad for us, but if we are banned from going out to exercise, walk hounds, cycle ride etc then that will have impact.

Italy and Spain's death toll yesterday was over 1000, and that really is a real wake-up call for all countries. I notice that political extremists are still banging political drums over various countries' mortality rates. But nobody has congratulated the Chinese yet for reducing their infection and mortality rates to a mere nothing by comparison with a few weeks ago. I reckon that China really did enforce its policies for the better, or that's what it looks like now.

Guess again, snowflake.

I need to copy and keep some of the remarks that others are writing, just to show them in a few week's time. :D
How political extremists can still be banging drums when each country needs everybody to be pulling together, that just leaves me saddened.

The UK is going to be next, I reckon, and you'll be in line in about 6-7 weeks, maybe. The mortality rate % in known cases in Italy is about 8%, that's just horrific.

The latest measures announced today are going to be difficult for a lot of people, from a mental and physical health perspective. How the proposals for the 'at risk' groups are going to be met in terms of medicines/supplies etc for those that are under effective three month quarantine remains to be seen. If the social distancing legislation isn't met overall then we're in for a total lockdown sometime soon and that's probably more likely than not. I appreciate it's not too bad for you and your wife from a social perspective but it will have immense impact for many and as you say, enforced home restriction negates any sort of healthy outdoor exercise.

I'm somewhat dubious where it comes to China so will reserve further comment.
