Try the live feed camera. Clear picture, no fisheye, shows the curve of the earth.

Except the globe model, the heliocentric model, though it's not as well known, shows that the earth is almost exactly at the center of the universe, which philosophically provides an argument for earth being at the center of God's attention.

So, about 3 miles, at sea level, then, right? So, then If the sun is 1000 times farther away than that, and the stars even farther, how come we can see them? If the farthest our eyes can see is only 3 miles, how do we see objects that are much, much farther away?
