The earth is flat and we never went to the moon--Part II

Dave, Dave, Dave! "Four corners of the earth" is an idiom, a figure of speech, that means "all parts of the world". The word used in Isaiah, KANAPH, generally means "extremity." https://christiananswers.net/q-eden/edn-c017.html

That's not what I said, Dave, and you know it. I said that they wrote from their perspective. A car seen from one side is the exact same car seen from the other side.

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon--Part II

The Bible is written from the perspective of man. It's not written from God's perspective. Yes, God inspired the authors to write what they wrote, but that doesn't mean that everything was made clear to them so that they understood everything they saw and wrote about.

No, Dave, it doesn't. If anything, it shows how brilliant God is, how carefully He designed our universe. Now you're conflating ideas. Evolution is by chance. Mathematics is not. Dave, do you know what quantum even means? It means: It has absolutely nothing to do with atheism.

I didn't call you dumb, Dave. I asked if you were, because I can't believe you can't understand what I'm asking.

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon--Part II

Are you dumb, Dave? 6 miles is the diameter of the circle on the sphere of the Earth that is visible from a human being on its surface. So, again I ask, how curved would a scaled down 6 mile segment be on your graph paper? Would the curve be noticeable?

Dave, what's the diameter of a circle with a 3 mile radius?

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon--Part II

Hey Dave, on your graph, pick a random spot on it and calculate the length of a segment on that curve that, at scale, would be about 6 miles in length. Then tell me how curved that segment looks, or if it's relatively flat.

Hey, DFT_Dave. I want to ask you, was the following image taken on the surface of a sphere or a flat plane?

Oooh, interesting. I just came across this page that goes through the math (formulas and all) of raising the altitude of the ISS every so often due to orbital decay. https://physicsfromplanetearth.wordpress.com/2017/02/

You haven't been too forthright with the flat earth model you support, Dave. Pardon me if I argue against something you don't believe in. Dave, is the sun a point of light surrounded by a clear spherical surface (like a glass (not saying it's glass) covering such as on a lightbulb)? or is it a...

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon--Part II

So you're rejecting the reason the balloon photos look different than the ISS photos, that the ISS is at least 220 miles above the highest ever balloon, because... Why? "Because the clouds look the same"? I'm sorry, but that's not a good enough reason to reject the reason why photos of the...
