The earth is flat and we never went to the moon

http://listverse.com/2010/12/04/8-greatest-antarctic-explorers/ My point is your argument is faulty at best. Make a better argument.

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon

Refresh your page. I wasn't finished when I first posted my comment. I have since finished it. And no, they don't, dave. They shouldn't even come near antarctica if the earth is flat, yet you yourself even admitted that they "only skirt the edge" of Antarctica. So you still have to explain why...

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon

You're missing the point. If the earth is flat, then the airlines are wasting millions of pounds of fuel in flight due to traveling in one long curve, and not in a straight line to their destination. Why would they do? So what about Sir Edmund Hillary? Nobu Shirase? Sir Edgeworth David? Robert...

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon

Dave, all you have to do to find proof that what I'm saying is true is to search the internet, just like you do with your flat earth conspiracy nonsense, because you clearly haven't learned anything in this thread.

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon

Dave, do you even know what space is? I'll tell you what it is, in case you didn't know. Space (the region above our atmosphere, where the stars, planets, and moons are) is literally a vacuum. It's empty. And it's a long way in between items of any significant size. Dave, does location affect...

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon

Dave, you do realize that we can create vacuums here on earth, right? Not to mention that WE'VE BEEN TO SPACE!!!

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon

I presented my argument already. Go back and do the experiment.

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon

-facepalm- Dave, the photo that Clete took IS in atmosphere, so there's a difference between it and the moon. Light passes through atmosphere DIFFERENTLY than it does through vacuum.

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon

You need an experiment that is to scale to show you how the universe works, Dave, so that you can stop presenting arguments that go against this assumed reality you're arguing against. Go do the experiment I presented above, then come back and make the same argument you just presented.

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon

Dave, one thing to keep in mind is that that photo was taken in an atmosphere. There's no atmosphere on the moon. That's why the terminator line is so sharp.

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon

The sky is black from a lack of light, and the sun being on the other side of the earth. Also, I already told you how, and told you an experiment that shows you EXACTLY how the sun can still shine on the moon. WRONG. See above. See above.

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon

I will reply to this and to your previous comment later when I have time, because you just contradicted yourself slightly, though you may not have noticed it.

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon

You missed his point entirely. AMR, did the sun grow legs and stand in one place for a few hours in the sky? Or did it simply stop moving?

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon

You mean "penumbra"? You're wondering about why if the moon orbits the earth does it not always fall in the earth's shadow when the Earth is (relatively) between the moon and Sun, correct? If so, you can show yourself why, using the following experiment: Take a lamp (the bigger the better)...

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon

Funny story about this... I once tried to make a model of the solar system in Unity3D once. I went really small, making the sun about 1 dm (iirc, or it might have been 1 cm, though I do remember using that link I provided in my previous comment to determine scale). But I had trouble making the...
