That's a nice platitude. Ick. The point I was making was that love is not nice, as opposed to what Chair seemed to think love required someone to be.

God is capable of more than just love, and can even love and hate simultaneously. He asked that they be forgiven for crucifying Him, because they didn't know that they were accomplishing His purpose. He didn't forgive all of their sins.

Indeed He is. But He's not always nice. Which is exactly my point. Love isn't always nice.

It's certainly not nicer than God.
