    Original Sin, and its Essence

Neither of those are definitions. The whole idea that people that are "in Adam" receive the wages of sin is a concept that needs to be wrestled with. The Levites paid tithe to Melchizedek while they were "in Abraham": Hebrews 7:9-10 KJV — And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes...

    Original Sin, and its Essence

Shall I quote it again? And I'll include the next verse to see if it helps. 1 Corinthians 15:22-23 KJV — For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. If we're not...

    Original Sin, and its Essence

Yet we are told "in Adam all die". 1 Corinthians 15:22 KJV — For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. If that means what it appears to mean, death is guaranteed to all human beings who are "in Adam." So if one is not subject to death, then that one must not be "in...

    Original Sin, and its Essence

How is it possible not to? Adam was not introduced into his body. Adam was made inanimate, breathed unto by the breath of God, THEN he became a living being. God intended to make a race of beings from the first man that He could have relationship with, but that they had the ability to sin...

    Original Sin, and its Essence

I think I can help here. What was passed on was not sin, but death. And it is morally right for death promised to Adam before he conceived any offspring to be under the same sentence. If Adam was considered dead by God, because he was going to die, then any children he has are as good as dead...

Does Open Theism make us view eschatology differently?

"Jerk" is different than "anger". No, I don't think you're angry here. But I've seen you get angry, and do exactly what you've complained about. Or, maybe you're not angry and you do exactly what you've complained about. (Which makes the anger talk a red herring, by the way.) My contention is...

Does Open Theism make us view eschatology differently?

This is exactly what MADists do, though not as a rare exception, as a rule, as far as I've seen.

Does Open Theism make us view eschatology differently?

If they are still having children, and people live to be 1000, there will be quite a few. Yes, but I didn't see how @JudgeRightly's description allowed for such.

Does Open Theism make us view eschatology differently?

"Mortal" means "able to die". Not sure how that fits with "none shall see death". I just don't see it as so absolute. The mortals might still die, but not from natural causes, and not as much from murders and such.

Does Open Theism make us view eschatology differently?

I see talk about what happens during a golden age period where people will live well past 100 years. Is that what you are referring to? How do you mean "to me"? I don't know what you mean.

Just because you have no doubt doesn't mean scripture says it.

Does Open Theism make us view eschatology differently?

Ok, you're talking about accepting Jesus as king at the beginning of 1000 years? But that judgment is based on how they acted prior to His return, not on what they do in the 1000 years, don't you think? Maybe. But that means you think all mankind currently should also be thinking of it, but...

Does Open Theism make us view eschatology differently?

Can you give scripture for that? I'm not disagreeing, but that statement is not in the bible, afaik. That thought would be unlikely to be in their minds, like it is not in the minds of so many today.

True! And I did. True. It was more defining the goalposts in the first place. They are if the Lord installed government to wield the sword for Him.

Does Open Theism make us view eschatology differently?

Didn't make it that far myself. Reunited as husband and wife? Side topic, but she is "in the resurrection", where we are not married or given in marriage. It's still a metaphor, even how you are using it. He doesn't hit them on the head with an iron scepter. Hmmm. I was the one who suggested...

    On the omniscience of God

If they are known to be pedophiles by the executioner, then hasn't due process already been served? Maybe we should. God endorsed mass executions here: Genesis 6:13 KJV — And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and...

    On the omniscience of God

Since there's no history on the scenario, we don't know whether that has been done already. I never suggested the scenario, which wasn't originally mine, was realistic. Agreed, but we don't currently have that here, except that victims can view the executions. Not the same as throwing a rock.
