    The Joys of Catholicism

Scripture was scripture the moment it was written, not when the RCC compiled the texts into a book with other non-scriptural texts. Remember, the oracles of God were comitted to the Jews, not the RCC. What advantage then has the Jew, or what is the profit of circumcision? Much in every way...

Water baptism is not for the body of Christ

Which one? There are multiple. Because you say so? You're still ignoring what I said. The Jews currently have no special status as a nation. They are fallen. The word Messiah is used all of three times in the New Testament, and all three uses are in John. The term means "anointed one."...

Scientists are human. I let God be true, and every man a liar. The science, however, points to God.

Water baptism is not for the body of Christ

Of course. But that does not automatically mean that everything you say is "fact." This is a 'you' problem at this point, because now you're just ignoring what I said. Go read what I said again. I explained it as clearly as I possibly could. There IS (or, rather, WAS) special status for...

    Are Tattoos Sinful?

Romans 12:1 comes to mind... But we should be careful to not place ourselves under any law. There's no specific prohibition (in the Bible) against markings, etc Make of that what you will.

Water baptism is not for the body of Christ

Not what it sounded like. Peter has never been in the Body of Christ. He has always been under Israel's "New Covenant," you know, the one God said He would make with Israel. Peter, in his letters, is writing to a future generation of believers under the New Covenant, along with any current...

A missing Link to Genesis 1:6 God said, “I command a dome to separate the water above it from the water below it.”

This is the HPTs depiction of the "fountains" of the great deep. Please note that the uploaded video is over 12 years old (and the footage itself is probably much older), so some of the things Walt says in it are out of date, compared to the current state of the theory. This is a literal...

Water baptism is not for the body of Christ

No one here denies what Paul said. What RD said does not conflict with what Paul said in 2 Timothy 3. In other words, you're missing the point of contention. Yes, the letters from Peter, et al, are profitable, etc. No, those letters were not written to the Body of Christ. Both of those...

A missing Link to Genesis 1:6 God said, “I command a dome to separate the water above it from the water below it.”

Did someone say "fountains" wasn't a figure of speech? Of course it is! But a figure of speech means something. "Fountains of the great deep" broke forth. "The windows of heaven" were opened. The "connecting text" is the "and."

Right. The Bible does not say anything about the position of the earth in relation to other celestial bodies. Science tells us those things. Merry Christmas!

    Paul's gospel started late....

Huh? Last I checked, Isaiah 53 is written in the Bible. The point I was making was that Paul's gospel was not recorded anywhere in scripture prior to His conversion on the road to Damascus, while Isaiah is part of Scripture, and has everything to do with the New Covenant, where "the death of...

A missing Link to Genesis 1:6 God said, “I command a dome to separate the water above it from the water below it.”

The "windows of heaven were opened" is a figure of speech that means that it rained really hard. Which, isn't surprising when you have fountains launching billions of gallons of water up into the air... That's why it says "fountains of the great deep broke forth" first. The earth is indeed...

    Paul's gospel started late....

To clarify: Paul was given his gospel directly from Christ Himself. His gospel did not come from the scriptures. It was, as Paul said, "kept secret since the world began." Isaiah 53 is not "kept secret."

No. Isaiah 53 is not Paul's gospel, no.

    The Joys of Catholicism

"Western" thought tends to not think in terms of groups, but rather in terms of individuals. But the entire nature of Israel's covenant is as a nation as a whole, not many individuals. Telling people "don't forsake gathering together" and "where two or three are gathered" is entirely...

Yes, that is about Christ. What does Isaiah 53 have to do with what RD said?
