Is Mr. Jordan Peterson a false prophet or ravenous wolf?

No it isn't above your pay grade. This very sentiment of yours is itself based on a judgment of God, both of His stature and your lack thereof. You'd not be a follower of Christ if you had made the judgment that God was evil. Would you? Spend a moment to think what you've said here through...

That's incompetent, irrelevant, and immaterial, impassible, impeccable, and immutable! - Oct 23 2023

Pretty sure I heard that one from Bob many years ago when he did his Genesis the Fall teaching series. Love is the entire purpose of their having been created in the first place. Of course Adam loved Eve. I do not understand where the question comes from. You aren't supposing that our ability...

My First Interesting Interaction With ChatGPT

So, I had to look up the word "irenic" but, yes, I got the same feeling. Seems like it was giving me the safe answer that conforms to conventional thinking rather than the hard, dispassionate, Spock like logic one might expect from a computer. Clete

That's incompetent, irrelevant, and immaterial, impassible, impeccable, and immutable! - Oct 23 2023

There almost has to be a definition of terms issue happening here. With what do you choose if not your mind? "Well before"? Just how long do suppose they went before sinning? There was no television to while away the hours watching and they were both in perfect physical condition and naked...

Could God destroy a human being?

What an excellent question! If it were, Christ need not have died. The debt is not finite. If it were then God could have simply created another creature of sufficient value to pay the debt. As it is, God's own life is the only coin of sufficient value.

Book of Life of the Lamb slain

You're so wrong! I reject your reality and substitute my own! Isn't that what people around here do when presented with overwhelming evidence that they've said something that is incorrect? Just tryin' to fit in!

Could God destroy a human being?

I believe that God would have done so had saving some of Adam's race not been worth the cost. What a cost! Right?! In that light, its really crazy to think about just how incredibly amazing our relationship with God is going to be when this flesh is gone!

Not exactly a stellar start to a burgeoning technology. People will not use it if they cannot reasonably trust it.

Could God destroy a human being?

Well, "remove from existence" is something of a figure of speech. I meant, "kill them on the spot and send them along with Satan and the rebellious angels to their eternal fate", whatever that would have been had He decided go that route.

Could God destroy a human being?

"The Lamb slain from the foundation of the World" is simply conveying the idea that God had made the decision to sacrifice Himself to save some of Adam's race, should the need arise, from the very beginning.

Could God destroy a human being?

There was no other way to deal with man's sin - that kept mankind in existence.

Is Mr. Jordan Peterson a false prophet or ravenous wolf?

I do not disagree with the gist of your comments here. In fact, I've thought almost the exact same thing about Dr. Peterson. I did want to say, however, that love is not antithetical to the intellect. Indeed, love is an act of the intellect. One cannot love that which he does not choose to love...

    Have I gone MAD???

My only response to this is to say three things... First of all, I'm sorry about the Phillip/Stephen error. So embarrassing! Second, I agree with, sympathize with and agonize over the confusion created THROUGHOUT the church by Acts 2 Dispensationalism. I simply hate the fact that it is the...

    Have I gone MAD???

Yes! Of course I meant Stephen! This error is actually what woke me up this morning at 4:30 and wouldn't let me go back to sleep. It is also not the first time I've made this exact same mistake! I seem to have a glitch in my brain that wants to call Stephen, Phillip! I even do it when speaking...

I've not delved much at all into ChatGPT and the little bit I have has been rather uninteresting really. This morning, I woke up early and couldn't go back to sleep and so decided to ask ChatGPT what the word Logos meant. Here's the results.... Clete: What is the best English translation for...

Answering old threads thread Part II

I've tried. It's an addiction, I think. Yeah, that was sort of heat of the moment thing and should not have been said. Had I been anywhere near a computer, I'd have deleted that half an hour after I posted it. I'll do what I want to do and there's not one damn thing you can do about it...

    Have I gone MAD???

No Mid-Acts believer would ever desire (rightly) to remove James from the scripture. James wrote a brilliant epistle that is not only profitable now but will be critical when God returns to working directly with and through Israel. Besides, you couldn't remove the book of James without the same...
