  • Hell is the grave. You might be interested in my theory about the express image of God. I believe that God clowned himself and created his exact image who is Christ.
Lucky I live with my daughter and grandson. He starts college next fall, going for the pre-med courses. He is an A+ student and on the Varsity Basketball team.
Hi keypurr. Wow, 50 inches. That's some snow.

Last week in the "good morning breakfast clubbers" thread I'd posted a week of pictures of bunnies in the snow. :)
Anyways,...its all relative, beyond the reality of what is absolute truth itself, at the very heart-source of creation, the primal Deity itself, which simply IS. That divine name is 'ehyeh asher ehyeh',.....the 'I Am' or 'I Will Be',...the Self-existing One, that original Creative Spirit/Intelligence from which all creation springs. Such is the Universal Father,...anyways....lest I go on ;)
Hi keypurr....as you know being a liberal universal eclectic...I can see the full views and intricacies of both 'Unitarian' and 'Trinitarian' views,...and can explore/expound the relational dynamics between them, but on a simple relational level,...the Unitarian view is just fine. Trinitarian views developed later, and there are some trinity-patterns in nature and in divine metaphysics,...triads, tri-unities, triples, etc. Nevertheless, God is One,...no matter what multiples extend from that primary oneness, or within its infinite potential :) - The whole Jesus/Christ connection or association, can be speculated, whether Jesus was the 'logos' from eternity, or if the 'logos' or 'Christ' came down upon him at his baptism, or some other variation thereof.
Thanks keypurr. I get the impression elevating Jesus to the status of God conveys some elevated spiritual status of one's self in a peculiar way. I think the Catholics created both a vacancy for the pope, and simultaneously elevating Mary to the status of Mother of God. Maybe those non-RCC who subscribe to Jesus = God have achieved an alleged spiritual status analogous to the pope. I think it's more of a vanity thing... "truth" serum doesn't always work in those cases, LOL! Jesus doesn't need elevating, and His ascension was elevation enough, think? Furthermore, we humans are in NO position to assume we have such authority: vanity. I typically circumvent such futile debates, but state my case from time to time... simple enough to me. We are not above our Master Jesus, but to think we have the authority to elevate Him... well? Thanks again friend.
"For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him" Colossians 1:16
