Oh, I agree with everything you said. The deciding factor for me was when I was reading on another thread yesterday and certain trolls were complaining about people making their profiles private. Since they are going to continue to troll, the least I can do is frustrate them.
Oh, I changed my settings so that anyone who isn't on my friend's list cannot post or read on my profile page OR send me PM's. It's annoying because there could be some potentially great new members that won't be able to read either. The only thing I have left public is my photo albums, and I am contemplating making that private as well.
So, did you have to make your profile and PM's friend's only as well?
