The Eternal Purpose of creation !

The Elect of God, for the Praise of the Glory of Gods Grace, had been appointed to Salvation through Jesus Christ before Adam was created up on the earth 2 Thess 2:13-14

13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Thess 5:9

For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

Beforehand or prior to creation the elect were designated vessels of mercy Rom 9:23-24

23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

24 Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

The words afore prepare are proētoimasen:

To prepare or appoint beforehand, predestine. From pro and hetoimazo; to fit up in advance. See their fall in Adam was part of fitting them up in advance for the eternal glory in Christ 2 Tim 2:10

10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they[The elect] may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

This Eternal Glory was appointed the elect, which never could have been through Adam, the most glory they could have obtained through Adam would have been earthy, because he was from the earth 1 Cor 15:47

The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven. The Glory God had in store for the elect was always heavenly through the Heavenly Man vs 48-49

As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

Even if Adam had not sinned, he was only flesh and blood, which scripture states 1 Cor 15:50

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
And along with the Elect being synonymous with the Church, or the Body of Christ, we can see through your analysis a good description of Paul's "mystery" (Ephesians 3:4-5 KJV).

Amen ! Eternal Glory for God's Elect Eph. 1:4, His Vessels of Mercy Rom. 9:22-23 appointed to obtain Salvation by Jesus Christ 1 Thes. 5:9, could never be obtained in earthy Adam [flesh and blood 1 Cor. 15:50], but only through the Blood of Jesus Christ in the Everlasting Covenant of Grace Heb. 13:20, whereby He was made their Surety Heb. 7:22; and so the Debtors [Elect] were discharged from their sin in Adam and all future sins they would commit in time Rev. 13:8b.

Now it's only these same Chosen Ones 2 Tim. 1:9, according to God's Eternal Purpose in Christ Jesus Eph. 3:11 which shall come to experience 1) Sanctification of the Spirit [New Birth], and 2) Belief of the Truth 2 Thes. 2:13.

Yes, it was predicated upon God's Eternal Purpose and Grace in Christ Jesus 2 Tim. 1:9 even before Adam was created as Federal Head of all the Elect; to sin and effect God's Eternal Purpose in Christ; which was to Save His Elect People from their sins and abolish death on their behalf 2 Tim. 1:9-10. For in the Eternal Purpose of God Eph. 3:11, Christ was designated as their Covenant Head and Surety Heb. 7:22, and was raised again for their Justification Rom. 4:25 as the Great Shepherd of the Sheep Heb. 13:20 before the world began, for they were always the objects of His Everlasting Love Jer. 31:3 !

It was always Gods purpose in Creation to show forth His Saving Grace in Christ. Paul writes Eph 2:6-7

6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

Verse 7 is one of my favorites. We won't need grace in Heaven, since we're in Him and there is no darkness in Him. We'll be reviewing what He did in the lives of everyone who's lived and the things He did in their life to show them the grace bought for them on Calvary. It will be awesome to see the lengths He went to bringing us into His Kingdom and keeping us in Him.

Amen Brother !

God's Eternal Purpose of Creation was to show forth the exceeding riches of His Grace upon His Election of Grace Rom. 11:5; a remnant of all people of the world that He chose In Union with Christ before the foundation of the world, according to the riches of His Grace.

Eph. 1:4-7, 11

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

2 Tim. 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

What was Gods purpose in giving Adam the command not to eat of the specific tree ? Gen 2:16-17

16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Was it in harmony with the fact that Christ would come into the world and die for sin and afterwards be highly exalted ? Phil 2:5-9

5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

When God gave Adam the command to not eat of the specific tree in the garden, He Sovereignly Purposed his disobedience, so that Christ Jesus, the Lamb slain before the foundation Rev. 13:8b, should be Highly Exalted Phil. 2:8-9 in their Salvation !

Yes, God Purposed from Everlasting to punish Christ for Adam's disobedience and His posterity in him [originally comprised of all God's Elect] for their sin of disobedience / unbelief, to fulfill His Redemptive Purpose in Christ; Set Up as the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world Rev. 13:8; 1 Pet. 1:20.

Now could God have kept Adam from the evil serpent if He so pleased? Yes, most definitely. However, according to God's Eternal Purpose in Christ Eph. 3:11, the first Adam had no choice but to disobey God and sin, for God had Eternally Purposed the Death, Burial and Resurrection of Christ the Last Adam 1 Cor. 15:45 to be Highly Exalted as a Prince and a Saviour Acts 5:31 !

So when Adam was Created everything was very good because all was Created to serve His Eternal Purpose and the final exaltation of Christ to be a Prince and a Saviour Acts 5:31

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:

11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
