For the wages of sin is death, Romans 6:23. Death is a consequence of sin, not a consequence of human life or situation. This equals: death proves sinfulness...
Hints in Genesis Adam and Eve were sinful before they ate...

Notice that "For the wages of sin is death" does not mean All who die, die from the guilt of sin.

But it doesn't say whose sin, and it doesn't say the wages of guilt is death. Adam started something--not sin, but death:
Romans 5:12-14 KJV — Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so DEATH passed upon all men, (not sin) for that all have sinned: (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
I'm not saying all don't sin, but that it was death that passed from Adam to all humans. So death is a consequence of Adam's sin, according to Paul. And I think it is because of death that people sin, generally. And the sting of death is sin (which seems to indicate that sin comes from death, and not death from sin).

If they do not die, is it because they don't sin
or
