Student Loan Political Suicide

Team Biden’s quiet decision last week to exclude millions of student-loan borrowers from its forgiveness program is the latest evidence that it’s running a Potemkin White House.

Thursday, the Department of Education said borrowers with privately held federal student loans will no longer qualify for President Joe Biden’s one-time loan-write-off program.

First there is no such thing as political suicide for Biden...He is at the top of his career and there is nothing else except another term (which is not going to happen).

Second...Stop proclaiming your puritanical morals or how bad this will be for the economy...The whole purpose is to provide division and further devalue the dollar. Don't worry the loans will be paid....

Cash Money Printer Goes BRRRRRRRR!!!

The Biden administration extended the student loan repayment pause to until the end of June 2023 while the administration’s student loan forgiveness plan is tied up in court, according to a Tuesday press release from the U.S. Department of Education (DOE).

Under the extension, loans do not need to be paid until 60 days after June 30, 2023, or whenever “litigation is resolved,” according to the DOE press release.

As someone who works in the financial industry, I can tell you that student loan debt is a major concern for many people.

Joe the Rapist ran on a platform of student loan forgiveness.
Not partial student loan forgiveness.
Not temporary suspension of student loan repayment.

The question always is - just how stupid are the young people that the Democrats rely on to put them in power?

Seems like the taxpayers should have more say in how their monies are spent in the government. Our so-called Representatives/government don't seem to be representing us too well.

Representative forms of government are a bad idea.

Just look at where ours has taken us.

The problem is what other forms are there. I don't see too many happy countries out there!

A constitutional monarchy is the closest you'll get to a form of government that does not violate any biblical principles.

It's what Britain used to be.

It's what Tonga is.

Hey there, just stumbled upon this post and thought I'd add my two cents. I get that forgiving student loans seems unfair and could have some negative political consequences, but I think it's also important to consider the impact student debt has on our generation.

Treating the symptoms doesn't cure the disease.

The Biden administration has given its clearest indication yet that the years-long pause of student loan repayments will come to an end in the coming months.
Optimism that the White House would keep offering borrowers relief from making their payments was crushed last week, when Education Secretary Miguel Cardona told a Senate panel that the payments would officially resume due to the pandemic emergency being over.
