Cops don't get paid enough

And too many cops ARE "evil racists who need to be put down by force for their pride and racism." So now what? Oh, let's give 'em a raise!

How about the start weeding out the evil racists, instead? How about we start training cops to be public servants instead of law enforcers? How about acknowledging the very real problems we have with our police and dealing with them intelligenty and effectively instead of rewarding the mess that policing has become (and to some degree has always been) in this country?

Democrats. Too many leftist democrats see cops as evil racists who need to be put down by force for their 'pride and racism.' What a bunch of hateful tribal democrat barbarian savages to think those kinds of thoughts.
That is a fallacy. They make the pretence of believing it because their goal is to destroy the stability of the US government and Christian values because the only way to destroy the US is to first destroy the morality of the population as our Constitution was designed to govern a population of moral people. It was never designed to govern a population that is antithetical to Christian values. Every one of our founding fathers said this.

One is too many. But I see no reason to think that there is an over-representation in the police force of evil racists.
So now what?
How about we hold the evil racist cops accountable, and celebrate the extraordinary efforts put forth by the majority of the cops who have to deal with the dregs of society on a daily basis.
Oh, let's give 'em a raise!
Certainly a possibility. And probably the best way to attract the best candidates, ie those who are not evil racists.
How about the start weeding out the evil racists, instead?
Pretty sure that process has been started decades ago.

No. How about not. How about we task our legislatures with writing good law, task our law enforcement officers with enforcing that law, and demand that the judicial system play its role.
How about acknowledging the very real problems we have with our police
The very real problems that we have with our police stem from the very real problems that we have with our population, especially those that interact with the police on a daily basis. Criminals. Those who are mentally and psychologically unstable.

Policing is a mess. It always has been a mess. It always will be a mess. It's a messy business dealing with a messy population of people who don't want to obey the law.

LAPD Form Hasty Skirmish Line After Mob Takes Over Street and Turns Hostile

Los Angeles police faced off Sunday morning against a large, unruly crowd in the city’s Boyle Heights neighborhood.

Police established a skirmish line in response to a massive group of drivers doing donuts in the streets, according to Fox News.

The police response triggered an escalation from the crowd, which reportedly threw fireworks, bottles and other items at police.

Some people were aiming lasers at officers, according to one report.
One person suffered a cut to the head in the confrontation.

Police referred to the incident as a “street takeover.”

Now, my take on this is that the police should have been authorized to go in and arrest every single person participating and observing, and anybody who resisted arrest should have been met with lethal fire.

Because as a private citizen, if I'm threatened by criminals like these people, I'm not going to wait to see how much damage they're going to do to me. I'm going to mag dump, center mass.

How about we start training citizens to be law-abiding?

Best way to do that is to have harsher punishments and far fewer (but simultaneously broader reaching) laws.

Poor guy coming out of his house just wanted to help the people involved in a car crash, but his tunnel vision didn't let him hear the sirens of all the police vehicles chasing the now wrecked vehicle. It's a good thing he got snapped back to reality by the officers telling him to go back inside, because that could have gotten a lot worse...

Some people do care about others. Too much, almost.

Officer on coffee break, observes suspect moving gun from one car to another, approaches suspect, engages in conversation. Officer killed.

I could go on like this for days. And it's not helped by idiots like Purex who blame the cops.

What police have to deal with on a daily basis thanks to idiots like Purex:

In diapers and kiddie undies, TODDLERS punch, kick, swing, curse at cops serving warrant, drop F-bomb

A shocking video of a group of Minnesota toddlers acting out against cops who were in the process of executing a search warrant for a murder suspect is a disturbing glimpse at life in the Twin Cities which two years ago, was at the epicenter of the violent riots that swept the nation after video of the fatal encounter between George Floyd and law enforcement officers went viral.

The incident took place in St. Paul where the officers were greeted by several half-naked children who “punched, kicked, cursed, and threw rocks at them” according to the local independent media outlet which posted a short video of the rude greeting online as part of a report on how kids are groomed to disrespect the police from their earliest days, often leading to a life of crime.

Alpha News which describes itself as being “a team of independent journalists seeking out and reporting stories that the citizens of Minnesota deserve to know, the same news that the mainstream media all too often refuses to report and routinely disregards,”

Sounds like a few parents need some good spankings, along with their children.

@Arthur Brain This is what happens when you raise your children to disrespect the law and when the punishments for crimes are not harsh enough.

Officers serving a warrant and arresting a 24-year-old on burglary and assault charges, mom ends up getting charged with interference obstruction and assault, dad ends up getting charged with felony assault. I would have charged him with attempted murder. Idiots. Absolute idiots.
