I was answering Anna's post to inject the idea into the discussion that taking sides wither either Ukraine or Russia is a mistake. Russia is clearly the bad guy here for war crimes but that does not mean Ukraine is a God-fearing nation of peace and liberty-loving people.

It's a whole lot of nothing, Jefferson, you're putting way too much weight on those words, giving them more significance than they deserve. NBC's weakest link Chuck Todd using big boy words doesn't mean "NBC has joined the ranks" of conspiracy theorists.

You didn't mind derailing it with other subjects earlier in the thread and I didn't mind that you did either, so this is a fine place to clarify whether or not you're just throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks or if you want to see it put into action in the U.S., a la Putin. Putin is a genocidal dictator and invader of Ukraine, and you don't seem to see much wrong with that as far as I can see.
