There Is No Future for the Republican Party Without Trump

Nikki Haley would be a far better choice than Trump.
That’s a rather low bar to work with. Haley worked FOR trump. IMO, that disqualifies her.

The only two Republicans I can think of would be John Kasich or William Weld.

Haley is a better person than you will ever be.

I REPEAT: You are a phony pro-lifer who supports the party of murdering babies. You have no credibility to say anything.

Democrats are the party of infanticide, socialism, government control, smashing Free Speech rights, giving free stuff to illegal aliens, and now they are the party of mobs in the streets burning and destroying cities. See the burning cities and torn down statues, and you see the democrat party world. Mobs.

Republicans are the party of Traditional Values, Liberty and freedom. Donald Trump gave us the lowest unemployment rates since John F Kennedy until the virus hit, and now Democrats are trying to keep the virus going because they are so evil they are happy to destroy the economy simply to defeat Trump. That’s right. Masks and continued shutdowns are a joke, based totally on fear. There is a 0.04 death rate for Corona. People have more chance of dying from the Flu.

A totalitarian socialist state of mobs is what the Democrats offer, and liberty and freedom and jobs-not-mobs is what Trump offers.

It is YOU who deserves the scorn, you and your fascist Democrat Party.

Simple, treat them with the scorn they deserve.
I actually agree with you, but more explanation is needed. Yes, I admit it makes me feel superior when I hear the deluded ravings of the Re-Trumplicans. And, yes, it is kind of fun to put them in their place in this forum. But, of course, we should take the high road.

In other words, humiliation and shame actually work - they regulate human behaviour to the broader benefit of society:

Throughout history, societies everywhere have made use of shame to express their values and enforce expectations for how their members ought to behave toward one another. While often defined too narrowly, as they were in the United States in the 1950s, these shared expectations also made it possible for human beings to live together, cooperate, and thrive. By mapping the behavioral territory subject to shame and then shunning those who transgress, we define shared values that may bring us together as a people. For example, civility and honesty are two traits heavily enforced by shame. Those who betray our values are encouraged to reform and subsequently reintegrate into society.

So, yes, let's heap on the scorn. But not because it makes us feel righteous and superior, but because it works.

It's not a waste to vote for someone who is against abortion.

It is a waste to vote for someone who has no chance at all of winning.

The system is rigged for a two party election. A third party presidential candidate will not win. Therefore, voting for this guy is just one less vote for the Republican who actually has a chance of defeating the Democrat.

And let us remember: Trump was voted Pro Life Person of the Year by Operation Rescue.

He'd have a better chance of winning if more people voted for him.

How about voting for what is good and right, rather than, "can my buy beat the other guy?"

And let us remember: Trump was voted Pro Life Person of the Year by Operation Rescue.

Trump is "personhood never."

That means he will never support the right to life of the unborn, and his history in politics proves it.

Your point being?

My point being that just hoping a guy will get more votes is a fantasy. As I said, the system is rigged for a two party election. A third party presidential candidate will not win. Period. So why waste a vote on a guy who cannot win when you can use it to defeat the evil in this country, the Democrat Party.

Because the other major party is also evil.

Don't vote for evil that good may come of it.

You are welcome to your opinion. I disagree. There are a lot of good GOP reps trying to do the right thing. Sure there are bad ones too.

And anyway, now that you have thrown down that gauntlet, you have to prove that there are no evil people at all in your guy's third party, because if there are then your whole reasoning goes down the toilet.

You are welcome to your opinion.

I was half quoting scripture.

I disagree.

Of course you do. Because your political beliefs aren't founded in scripture.

There are a lot of good GOP reps trying to do the right thing. Sure there are bad ones too.

But are they evil?

Supporting, or even not actively trying to dismantle, evil makes one evil.

Tom is one of the people who is actively against abortion.

And anyway, now that you have thrown down that gauntlet,

What gauntlet?

you have to prove that there are no evil people at all in your guy's third party,

Talk about moving the goalposts.

Where did I make the claim that in order for a party to be rightly voted for, they had to have zero evil people in them?

I said don't vote for evil.

Not "don't vote for evil people."

because if there are then your whole reasoning goes down the toilet.

Supra.

Man, you can't stick to one thing from post to post. Do you even realize how disjointed and disconnected your posts are one to the next? You seem to be more interested in disagreeing with me than you are in any sort of consistent message. Not to mention the fact that you are in denial about the fact that the system is rigged/designed for a two party contest. A vote for your guy is a vote flushed down the toilet.

Meanwhile, the Biden Boot-Licker Rusha is in this thread lying her face off but you don't seem to give a hoot about that. You have a true dislike for me don't you. Not that I care mind you. Your antiCatholic bigotry looms large in your posts.

Where have I denied it?

A vote for your guy is a vote flushed down the toilet.

See post #27.

Is there something specific you think I should reply to? Are you incapable of responding to Rusha?

You have a true dislike for me don't you.

Nope.

Not that I care mind you. Your antiCatholic bigotry looms large in your posts.

I have never been "antiCatholic."

I simply have a desire to promote a Biblical worldview.

To some degree, the Trump Phenomenon is a results of generations of sane politicians ignoring part of the US population. If they pay more attention to this group, they might not be driven to Messianic leaders.

I would say it’s about petty grievances and an extreme case of white-lash.

Whatever Rusha may have been in this forum in the past, that post puts her now squarely on the side of leftwing extremists, blaming Trump's election on white racism. What a filthy sick disgusting lie.

Sorry Fraulein Braun, we voted for Trump because Hillary's policies were horrible and because she is a congenital liar and a rotten person in general. Trump's policies have been great.

Hmmm. I do believe Rusha just called all of us who voted for him racists.

No. I don't think it's that simple. They have real grievances- or feel that they do, which amounts to the same thing.

Though belittling people who disagree with you is a common sport here, it is a lazy way to deal with real issues.
