Thankfully, we see growing numbers of people abandoning the sinking ship that is Donald Trump. Has there ever been anything analogous to the Lincoln Project in your (American) political history - a group associated with one party turning on their own? Well, it is much needed and those of us with sense applaud their courage. Now about the video: Given the dreadful behavior of your sham-of-a-chief-executive over the last 4 dark years, it clearly serves the purposes of those with red caps bolted on to their thick skulls to portray the current political divide in your nation as reflective of two equally intransigent factions. The truth is, I suggest, uncomfortably otherwise. On one side, we have people with respect for truthfulness, science, statesman-like behavior, inclusiveness, and the principles of democracy. On the other side we have people who are, to bundle up their characteristics into a single term, you know, "deplorable".
There is still room in the lifeboats. Those of you who stick with this freak-show of a President, as those with better judgement run for cover, will be wearing it for a long, long time - long after Mr. Trump is back on the golf course and lurking about ominously in the ladies changing room.

On the contrary, it is perfectly explicable: You and I don't see Boris Johnson's mug on our TV news every evening, but they probably do see Trump's. And like any good ally would be, they are embarrassed for us.

Yes, when I see Donald Trump behaving like a spoiled adolescent before the cameras, I feel a profound sense of empathy for my many American friends who are, no doubt, profoundly embarrassed. I went to college in the states and, to a man (and woman), all my former classmates (with whom I am in contact) are curled up in a fetal ball of cringe.

My experiences are different - I live in northern New York in a county whose largest employer is the United States Army. Most of the young men and women I know who are associated with the military are strong Trump supporters because they are absolutely disgusted by liberals and liberalism. They're also absolutely disgusted by any mention or thought of the KKK.
You are cheapening the complete evil that the Nazis were. Comparing youtube's self-censorship with a regime that caused the deaths of about millions of people. Hate the leftas much as you want, but try to use some horse-sense.
I only compare libs to Nazis in regards to their passion for censoring their political opponents. In that department they are virtually identical twins.
