eider and artie and jgarden - a pair of brits and a canadian - have been vocal and persistent in their criticism of Trump, the leader of a nation other than their own - and curiously reluctant to discuss the failings of their own leadership - the above presents data that suggests an examination of what's differrent in the UK

as well, I posted this earlier: https://theologyonline.com/forum/po...than-the-problem-itself?p=2742497#post2742497

but no, all we'll get from eider, artie and jgarden is a constant drumbeat of "orangemanbad"

It's all they got....

doser, curious about eider's bizarre obsessive hatred of another country's leader, asks:

unsurprisingly, eider punts

but artie steps up to the plate and takes a swing!

OK - that's a good reason to have an irrational obsessive hatred of another country's leader!

Good job Arthur Brain

You got that right! He said Trump bullied people out of their land in Scotland. Trump isn't a citizen of Scotland, is he? lol How did a non citizen take people's land by force, by bullying?

Actually yes, I may, our Easter sunrise service is held outdoors, where we all watch the sunrise during it's progression....I'll post a pic. Do you live in fear?

I put the silly toad on ignore - you might want to consider doing the same

No. But an outdoor service with social distancing may be acceptable. That isn't what most churches do, so that would not apply for most people.

Trump went against the recommendations of all of his health advisors and leading Republican politicians such as Sen. Lindsey Graham to call for "packed churches on Easter" and resumption of business as usual after Easter. He will, of course, walk this talk back. The fact that he said it at all demonstrates how dangerous his impulsiveness can be.

I have never used the ignore function, if I want to ignore someone, I just do. There have always been plenty of trolls, undesirables, and users that are unpleasant to deal with but, I have never used ignore & don't wanna start now because this users, commentary is pretty benign in the scope of things. I really don't give a rats behind what he thinks of me, or whether he questions my statements, who is he to me???? nobody, just some guy looking for a reaction.

It is obvious you do live in fear of a virus that only killed < 2500 in a population of 331million. The factual data does not warrant your fear, I know it, the president knows it, I think it is time for "at risk" people to self quarantine, and the rest of us get on with our lives while this virus runs it's course, just like the last pandemic (H1N1) did, where none of this hysteria or crazy quarantines were invoked. We have all done our due diligence to slow the spread, and yes I think it has helped, but now it is time to change the strategy or risk something far more unpleasant & long lasting, which is economic ruin & depression which also causes death, starvation & despair. Pick your poison...I'll risk catching a virus over the aforementioned any day.

I've had no problems. I went to B & M earlier and everyone was automatically observing the distance rules and in the queue too. It was quite funny when leaving because the automatic door was so slow and the guy behind me said: "Heck, even the doors are socially distancing from us...". I just turned around and we had a laugh.

Love it! :)
The bosses asked for an army of retired health professionals 90000 start back this weekend.
And they asked for 250000 support workers. 750000 have signed up.

A recovering victim of coronavirus was on telly today. 42yrs, a fitness follower. Gym three times a week. He could barely talk.

The victim list is going to include many younger fitter folks

My wife and I have discussed everything thst we want each other to know, do, communicate etc if either of us gets taken away. Relatives are saying that they never got to see or talk to their loved ones again.

The Druids do that at Stonehenge.:first:

Yet the pagen druids, have no hope in Christ who rose on Easter morning, which is what is being commemorated. You are such a mental giant I would have thought you would know the difference.

Your President disagrees with you though. Yeah?

How many do you think will fall sick to covid-19 in the US by end of April?
What % will die, do you reckon?

Want to put it in writing?

As a sciencey guy, thought you might appreciate this

https://www.forbes.com/sites/baldwin/2020/03/26/wheres-the-fabric-for-masks-and-gowns/

I used to work in an FDA regulated industry making medical devices. We had big, basketball-court-sized machines that processed melted polypropylene and injected it into molds. Our biggest fear was a power outage - we could never let it go cold or stop flowing or the startup would be a months-long endeavor. I can still get a mental "image" of the smell, and that was seventeen years ago. :chuckle:

You can be sure it will still fall far short of 1% so, why all the worry? Did you worry this much over H1N1? I didn't either...

The swine flu death rate was ~0.1%, while the death rate for COVID-19 is 10 times higher.

Not sure where you got your math degree but, in a country of 331 million, 2500 deaths falls far short of 1%, and yes, it does matter that you live in the US where our medical infrastructure is far superior to the countries that have seen higher numbers.

You haven't proved he lied about the corona virus. Could you give the information about Trump bullying people out of their homes?

Is Trump a citizen of Scotland? How can he bully people in Scotland concerning their land?

He proved it himself, the videos showing his changes of tune are simply showing that. Of course he's not a citizen of Scotland, he just wanted to build a golf course and hang the people who lived on the part of land he wanted:
