The distance from here to ending abortion would be shortened significantly by ending deposit expansion by banks. It's likely abortion will never end as long as deposit expansion continues because it is the perception of the power to create and control money; and the people who have that power have an agenda to control the world's population in quantity and quality. Abortion will continue as long as they have power. They maintain their power, and increase their wealth, through the banking scheme of deposit expansion.

money matters are not my forte...

never heard the term Deposit expansion

Ha, good luck finding any republican/democrat that won't allow abortion in one form or another. They all lie about being pro life. Abortion for any reason and in any form is plain murder. None of the current candidates are truly pro life, NONE!

Palin is..

tho i am not sure she is an oficial candidate... (??)

Defense.

Having rights, freedoms, etc. doesn't mean much if you cannot defend them.

WRONG!!! She would allow abortion in cases of rape. What did the baby do to deserve death. Kill the rapists love the baby. Palin is no better than any of the others. By the way Ann Coulter agrees with Palin on abortion issues as well. Sorry to inform you.

They're not "serial killers" and they're not government funded.
Doctors don't force women to have abortions. And if the government is unwilling to provide the kind of subsidies to poor pregnant women which would have kept so many of them from having abortions in the first place,it should be willing to pay for them to have abortions.
What about the costs to society of bringing so many desperately poor children into the world? The vastly increased poverty, unemployment and crime? Are you anti-choicers willing to contribute all the tax money that making abortion illegal wuill cause?
The numerous women who will die at the hands of back-alley abortionists, all the helpless children those women already have who will be left motherless? All the families and lives which will be destroyed by the stupidity of making abortion illegal?
And here's another thing. If abortion becomes illegal again in America, how much tax money will it require to enforce the law?
Billions and billions of dollars, all of which will be wasted in the futile attempt to keep women from having abortions.
It's the poor women who will suffer the most, and their families.
The U.S. government would have to turn America into a police state to enforce the law. It would have to keep women and girls under constant surveillance to make sure they would not have abortions if the were pregnant.
And all the while, women who could afford to fly abroad would have absolutely no difficulty getting safe, legal abortions.
What will we do? Have every young girl registered with the authorities once she reached puberty and have her under constant government surveillance in case she happened to get pregnant and might seek an abortion?
And require women who became pregnant to register with the law once they became pregnant and confined to house arrest in case she might seek an abortion?
And have her under constant surveillance at home in case she tried a self-induced abortion, or got some one else who was not a doctor to help her, such as a midwife?
Will women who have miscarriages be forced to report them to the authorities to make sure she did not actually have an abortion? And how will women prove they didn't?
What are we ? George orwell's 1984 with Big Brother watching us? And anti-choice conservatives have the nerve to demand "freedom" and "liberty" for America?
With freedom like this, who needs tyranny? We are not the former Soviet Union, with the secret police following us constantly.

What concerns me most is keeping the government out of our bedrooms and out of women's uteruses.
God, I do wish The Horn could just at least recognized the stupidity inherent in this one thing he said. If he did, that'd go such a long way.

I mean, I see how 1PeaceMaker tried to kinda guide him in the general direction of that realization...but considering how he completely stumbled right over it and onward, deeper into kookoo-land...you really might have to break out the spiritual jackhammers here.

I do appreciate the effort though, Lord. That's why I love you. You don't give up on anybody. :thumb:

We are on the same team, then. :thumb:

That includes keeping government-funded serial killers out of our uteruses, too, right?

Well said! :thumb:

They're not "serial killers" and they're not government funded.

I agree ... they are murderers for hire. Better?

And if the government is unwilling to provide the kind of subsidies to poor pregnant women which would have kept so many of them from having abortions in the first place,it should be willing to pay for them to have abortions.

So Horn, do you advocate that ALL men and women (regardless of monetary status) should be allowed to kill their unborn babies or just the poor women?

Seriously, IF the unborn are not worthy of life, then why do you keep making an issue out of the income of the woman aborting? Should a poor person get away with with murdering someone when they are in the process of robbing a bank? Based on your current argument, please feel free WHY you keep referring to "the poor women need abortion" argument.

What about the costs to society of bringing so many desperately poor children into the world? The vastly increased poverty, unemployment and crime? Are you anti-choicers willing to contribute all the tax money that making abortion illegal wuill cause?

Ha ... right on cue! :chuckle: You are so predictable. As for myself, I do not have a problem with families getting temporary assistance for prenatal care, birth and follow up expenses AFTER the baby is born.

To make it clear, the expectation is that it is *temporary* ... not permanent.

The numerous women who will die at the hands of back-alley abortionists,

Only the stupid ones ...

all the helpless children those women already have who will be left motherless? All the families and lives which will be destroyed by the stupidity of making abortion illegal?

How about putting the blame where it belongs. You know, on the woman who is STUPID enough to have a back alley abortion. Should we blame society for individuals who decide to allow their friend who is going through medical school of giving them a botched breast augmentation? Or how about the person who allows their friend give them a FREE perm and ends up with chemical burns on their scalp and fried hair?

What about the person who allows their friend to give them a tattoo and ends up with a massive infection? Does the person who is dumb enough to GIVE PERMISSION to have these services get to kill the person who is dumb enough to perform them?

Consent to sex is consent to pregnancy. Women (and men) have given their consent, however, the unborn baby in question has not given their consent to be slaughtered while they are still in the womb.

And here's another thing. If abortion becomes illegal again in America, how much tax money will it require to enforce the law?
Billions and billions of dollars, all of which will be wasted in the futile attempt to keep women from having abortions.

How many tax dollars will be required to enforce laws against murder, rape, child molestation, theft, vandalism, etc? Do individuals STILL commit those crimes or are you suggesting that because these crimes still occur they should not be illegal?

It's the poor women who will suffer the most, and their families.

No, you are wrong. The first and most important victim is the unborn baby. The second most important victim are the children who are growing up with parents who allow them to believe this is acceptable.

The U.S. government would have to turn America into a police state to enforce the law. It would have to keep women and girls under constant surveillance to make sure they would not have abortions if the were pregnant.

Having difficulty enforcing a law in not a good enough reason to discard it.

And all the while, women who could afford to fly abroad would have absolutely no difficulty getting safe, legal abortions.

Hysterical much?

Freedom has never included the right to intentionally kill our own children on the altar of convenience.

1. Abortion
2. Regulatory tyranny by alphabet agencies
3. Loss of individual freedom
4. Loss of individual privacy
5. Cultural marxism
6. Legislation from the bench

#4 struck a nerve..

it seems we only have privacy these days if we "want" to kill our children..

but Big Brother has his big fat nose into everything else... .

1. Wishing working people would realise that they pay 70-80 per cent of their pay in tax, not just the 20+ per cent income tax. Thatcher [still guaranteed to raise a boo in Britain] used to say that socialists run out of spending other people's money but it isn't other people's money it is OUR money and we should expect summat back for it.

The Tories gi' yer tuppence off income tax and whack a tanner on VAT [purchase tax] and slash public services. The present gang have just whacked on the VAT and still slashed public services.

In the US as well as tax you also pay sleek fat cat insurers for every kind of privately provided services [which you still pay for] and you get even less back from your taxes.

But they have poured ALL our money into the banks now, and are granting themselves nice bonuses out of it.

I do not believe in revolution, I hate the violence and repression that accompanies it....I believe in civil obedience [i.e. law and order] but I tell you western society is going to erupt before very long.
