Last week, President Donald Trump followed through on a threat he had been making for months. It was not a blistering or insulting tweet. It was not an attack on the press or congressional Democrats. It was an attack on the Constitution.

President Trump’s emergency declaration would be viable, though probably unsubstantiated factually, if it did not involve spending money. But by spending money not unauthorized by Congress, he has failed to uphold the Constitution, which he has sworn to preserve, protect and defend.

He's doing his job, securing the border is his job. Deporting illegals is his job.
Now if you want to talk about constitutional over reach we can talk about Obama.
Obama's job was to deport illegals as well. Now if he didn't agree with that he could not do his job and leave them be but he went one further and created DACA, which cost money and was definitely unconstitutional.
Take Marijuana for example, a President can not do his job and leave the pot dealers alone but if he creates a program to support them then he just engaged in a crime with them.
Just like Obama did with the DACAs.

In fact the U.S. does not have its “lowest unemployment” in the history of the country.
The unemployment rate for December 2018 was 3.9 per cent, the lowest since 2000, 18 years prior.
Trump’s claim was closer to accurate earlier in 2018, when the unemployment rate was the lowest since 1969.

Construction on Trump's border wall has not even started.
When Trump has claimed in the past that wall construction has begun, he has appeared to be referring to projects in which existing fencing is being replaced.

It is true that some barriers have been renovated, but not that new wall has been built.

The $1.6 billion Congress allocated to border projects in 2018 is not for the type of giant concrete wall Trump had proposed.

Careful followers of the news know full well that spending on that kind of wall is expressly prohibited in the legislation.

Much of the congressional allocation is for replacement and reinforcement projects rather than new construction.

It is not yet clear how much of it has been corroborated by special counsel Robert Mueller
But it has NOT been exposed as "entirely false."

You're wasting your time, the only way they can hang onto their sanity is to believe that a guy with no political experience who beat the Clinton Dynasty with half as much money and 3 million fewer votes is a horrible mistake.

Every news outlet, even the worst Trump haters, say that we have the greatest jobs numbers in 50 years, and the greatest economy in decades. That is a fact.

Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross is one of those Trump approached to help bail him out.
