    a) Where and when is that photo from? It looks like a demonstration, not a riot.
    b) the virus hasn't gone away. The press is paying attention to the riots, and people are getting sick (20,000 a day in the US) and dying (1,000 a day in the US).

Fake news - people are tired of pretending there's a "pandemic"

Now they want to pretend there's racism.

            • Post some dumb picture, and pretend that 20,000 people didn't get sick with COVID-19 today, and 1,000 people didn't die of it today.

Umm... ....who cares. Millions of people get sick everyday, and like most everything else, Covid has a 99% recovery rate, so what the hell are you crying about.

I don't flog Deism on Christian forums...... that's proselytizing.
Translation: "I do not know what I mean when I call myself a 'Deist', so please do not ask me what I mean."

I looked it up and found out that, when you call yourself a "Deist", you simply mean that you're a fool. Thanks for the advice! Now, thanks to my Individual Investigation, not only do I now know that by calling yourself a "Deist", you mean you are a fool, but you, also, now know that by calling yourself a "Deist", you mean you are a fool.

What evidence do you have to support your claim that what you call "evidence" is evidence?

If my epistemological questions are "most often simple semantic issues, easily dealt with by looking in a dictionary", it's even that much more sad that you and your fellow, proud abstainers from, and disdainers of, thinking philosophically, have not dealt, nor can deal with any of them--much less, easily.

Trying to make go away, epistemological questions that inconvenience and embarrass your incoherent worldview, by meaninglessly dismissing them as "semantic issues"--do you consider such a course to be a reasonable, or even remotely intellectually satisfying policy to follow in your being confronted, by critics, with such questions?

                      According to jgarden:

See, just like you, chair, neither Hitler nor Mussolini was philosophically inclined.

Here's the first entry given when I Google the word, 'berate': "scold or criticize (someone) angrily"

So, is this what you're saying:

" You are using whatever knowledge of philosophy you have as a crude tool to [scold or criticize angrily] people you disagree with. Is this what you think philosophy is for?"
You're mistaken, of course, if you think I'm scolding, and, although I'm criticizing, you're mistaken if you think I'm criticizing angrily. And, really, it's far more interesting, to me, to criticize the error being promulgated by people with whom I disagree, than it is to criticize the people, themselves--though, perhaps, it's not always altogether a simple, easy matter to entirely separate the error from the errorist, so that the error can treated in absolute independence of any and all consideration of the errorist. So anyway, in those senses of "berate", at least, it's false that I'm berating people with whom I disagree.

But, among other things, what I think philosophy is for--that is to say, what I think thinking philosophically is for--is, indeed, criticizing (whether approvingly, or disapprovingly--and whether angrily or placidly) things that people say and/or think (even things written by people who write the contents of dictionaries, I might add). Do you disagree?

Oh, I dunno, the families and loved ones of those infected, especially those who have fallen seriously ill and died from it? Even your beloved president had to start "caring" about it once the numbers could no longer be denied and declared a national emergency, but hey, no big deal right?

You really are a total dipstick.
Well this is fun isn't it?
