        1. What was the last movie you saw? Was it good?

Man from UNCLE. Meh. I prefer the old show but the film could have been much much worse.

        2. What was the last thing you bought at the store?

Antibiotic and steroid for my sinus infection.

        3. What is your favorite Christmas song?

Not sure I have one. Phil Keaggy's Maker of the Universe probably.

        4. Do you have a holiday family tradition?

        One present the night before.

        5. What is your favorite vegetable?

        Sweet potato.

        6. What was the last sale item you bought?

A pair of new Duluth Trading overalls for three bucks at a church resale shop the other day.

        7. Why did the chicken cross the road? ( "To get to the other side" replies not accepted.)

Because it was stapled to the first chicken.

        8. What is your favorite television show of all time?

Can't pick just one. Certain episodes of several series, but no one stands out above the rest. THE DOOMSDAY MACHINE from Star Trek may be #1.

        9. If you could bring any former style back in to fashion, what would it be?

1942. Fedoras with 2 1/4" side dimensional cut brims and nice daily wear suits.

        10. Who is your hero and why? (Somebody besides Jesus.)[/QUOTE]

Probably my dad. Called me an hour ago to say we probably shouldn't come down to see them for Christmas because he just had a chunk of skin cancer cut off his nose. He's missing one nostril and looks like Lon Chaney Sr. "I wasn't getting any prettier anyway," he said.

        [most will be very surprised]

Everyone who has not believed the Gospel of grace is not saved, no matter what else they believe or do.
By that measure, how many professing Christians are on their way to the Lake of Fire?

                  1. What was the last movie you saw? Was it good?
The last of the Mockingjay movies. It was entertaining. I wanted to see the recent Bond movie but it wasn't playing by the time I could work out the scheduling. Such is life.

                  2. What was the last thing you bought at the store?
                  Powerade.

                  3. What is your favorite Christmas song?
Good King Whatshisface, but only the Bing Crosby version. Angels We Have Heard on High is another good ong.

                  4. Do you have a holiday family tradition?
A number of them, from eve gatherings to a series of movies we watch during the Advent run.

                  5. What is your favorite vegetable?
Speckled butter beans...though in the South cornbread is sometimes considered integral to any serving.

                  6. What was the last sale item you bought?
                  I gave up boating...what?

                  7. Why did the chicken cross the road? ( "To get to the other side" replies not accepted.)
                  To run for Congress?

                  8. What is your favorite television show of all time?
It's a toss up between West Wing's first three seasons and any episode of Barnaby Jones where he had to run.

                  9. If you could bring any former style back in to fashion, what would it be?
Jheri curl. Then I'd open a sofa cleaning business and never look back

                  10. Who is your hero and why? (Somebody besides Jesus.)
Gerald Ford. Because as far as I know he was a rarity among politicians, with humility and decency among his defining traits. We could use more of that in government.
