AGAIN , Jesus preached exactly what YOU said HE didn't !
Nope. It was a mystery and Paul tells us why.

Romans 16:25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

Romans 16:26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

Romans 16:27 To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.

...

1 Corinthians 2:6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

1 Corinthians 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

1 Corinthians 2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

Heir, Do you believe the Apostle Paul was a liar ?
No, of course not.

PAUL SAID:

Eph 3:5
Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

Eph 3:6
That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

All the Apostles received the "mystery" by the Spirit according to the Apostle Paul ! Do you not believe Paul ?
This is mystery truth that was before hid in God, but is (then) now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit (I don't believe it's speaking about the 12, but those who traveled with Paul).

Ephesians 3:1 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

Ephesians 3:2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

Ephesians 3:3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

Ephesians 3:4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

Ephesians 3:5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

Ephesians 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

Ephesians 3:7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

Ephesians 3:8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

Ephesians 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Ephesians 3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

Ephesians 3:11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

Ephesians 3:12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

Our salvation is by grace through the faith of Jesus Christ and cannot be earned. It is the gift of God. Why would anyone here try and convince another otherwise?

OK I will play ! Lets say a homosexual , which scripture says is an abomination, says by faith he is saved and never repents even though he says he has faith and has received grace. Do you believe he/she is saved ?

What if an idolater who worships idols says they have grace through faith, and never repents . Do you consider them saved ?

If one never repents as Jesus taught then all they have are EMPTY (vain ) words that does NOT save anyone.

God has placed restrictions for Christians for their own benefit and blessings.

Repentance is scriptural, and what you have is a cheap meaningless salvation where you can disobey and IGNORE God, and that has eternal consequences.

What you have is both UN-scriptural and a lie straight from the pits of hell.

Folks do not obey God to be saved ,salvation is a gift, they obey God because they are saved.

Repentance is a change of attitude concerning sin. Always makes me chuckle watching the madsters trying to figure this out.
A repentant person cannot seek to justify what they know is morally wrong, regardless of whether they commit the act or not.
The person who commits a sin act, and seeks to justify it, isn't saved. They can claim all the grace scriptures there are, but the fact remains, they don't know the Lord.
The person who commits what they know is a sin act, and knows there is no basis for trying to justify their actions, is someone who is repentant.
Someone who sins, and has no sense of remorse whatsoever, pointing to Jesus as the sacrifice for sin, this person doesn't know the Lord.

Nah, you are wrong again as is par for the course with you.I suggest you burn the translation you are using as KEEP is the correct word. Guard a is OK but "keep" has much more force.Kinda like one translation has " We are bought with a price we have been OBTAINED by Him, which destroys the sense and flow of all of scripture. The correct word is PURCHASED as in we have been BOUGHT !

God saved me in 1978 without you destroying the context of the Greek.

You destroy the context of scripture every time you post, Dan.

Have a good day.

Hi and IF you look at G5442 KEEP / PHYLASSO has many meaning , like , Keep , Guard , Observe , , Beware , Watch , so useing Guard is acce[table !!

The Lord only revealed how that He must suffer many things, and be killed, and be raised again the third day shortly before His death. This was not the gospel of the kingdom that He preached for three years and was not good news to Peter! Look at Peter's reaction!

Matthew 16:21 From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.

Matthew 16:22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.

That "Christ died for our sins" was not the gospel preached in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Why don't you just admit it?

Jesus is the SACRIFICIAL LAMB of God.

The lamb being sacrificed IS for forgiveness of sins, AND the shedding of its blood.

John 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

John 1:35
The next day John was standing there again with two of his disciples.

John 1:36
When he saw Jesus passing by, he said, "Look, the Lamb of God!"

Even John the baptizer proclaimed it.

You don't believe the passage! The gospel that Paul preached was NOT AFTER MAN!

Galatians 1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.

Galatians 1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Are you trying to say not after Jesus the Man?

Jesus was no mere man!

An apostle is someone NOT TAUGHT BY MAN, but rather---taught by Jesus himself.

Paul is explaining that he is a real apostle taught by Jesus...he did NOT just get instructions from the other apostles!

You desperately want it to say "some" so you can try to keep people under the law, but it says "all". Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

What are you talking about? How do you ever get that I want the scriptures to say something it does not?

I do not preach circumcision, so how do you ever get that I want people under the old law?

We have a new law to be under, and it is written on the saved's heart and mind.

Read what Paul says, he says he is not free from God's law but under Christ's law.

1 Corinthians 9:21 To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law), so as to win those not having the law.

Pay attention, Paulite.

I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, ‘to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’

So in order to choose light, people must understand what the darkness is.To reject the darkness in favor of the light, leads to sins being forgiven. I know you hate this, cause it's the truth.

John 3:19 "And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

If men's deeds are evil, making them love darkness, there is no turning to the light, is there?
