WHY ARE SOME POSTERS SECRETIVE ABOUT WHAT CHURCH THEY'RE AFFILIATED WITH?

It is strange that I am the only one that you seem to have problem in this thread.

You don't have much credibility to join in this discussion because we are all claiming Jesus' name and you are not.

You are showing stalkers trait, dear.

Well then, I hope you are praying for her?

You're not a mainstreamer and you started attacking everyone else the moment you got here.
It is indeed puzzling and curious concerning the "pile on" to Meshak--especially when she began to quote--verbatim--from the New Testament's verses from Jesus that decry poverty and the marginalization of others.

And unfortunately, mocking Meshak's hat is a clear ignorant and immature way of arguing with Jesus.

Biblical socialism still rules and will always rule.

That was only a secondary issue.

Meshak came here and immediately started accusing all Trinitiarians of being secret sex perverts and adulterers. She did that for months and only quit after getting stomped by mods a few times. But TO THIS DAY she has not apologized, retracted or repented of what she said. She still believes it, so her "poor me" act is pure hypocrisy.

So until you know exactly what you're talking about, remain silent.

GM has a specific question in regards to other people's religion and why they keep it secret.

You, OTOH, are notorious for making threads which seek info about the private lives of other members.

good day, dear.

Because they've already encountered resistance from Bible believers, or at least from mainline Christians, and know many of us would have nothing to do with them just based on their doctrines. But they want conversation so badly (or in Meshak's case, attention) they hide where they attend/what they really believe as long as they can. It's dishonesty, and often not because they're afraid of debate, but because they don't want to be shut out.

Take Meshak, for example. She admits she's an ex-JW but will not admit that her core doctrines are still Watchtower, so she's refused to discuss them anymore. That's dishonest.

Sure sign of a troll and/or a cultist: ask them what "other" means, or what "Christian" specifically means, and they refuse to ever tell you.

Anyone who believes they have the truth of salvation, won't be hiding it.

They survive, but because they were abused they continue to unwittingly re-enact their own abuse onto others.

We treat others the same way we ourselves have been treated.

If a poster is deliberately cruel to others it is because s/he grew up in a family that was cruel.

What does that have to do with "hiding" your faith from others
on a Internet forum, where you have complete "Anonymity?"

I became a born again Christian as a teenager when I repented of my unbelief and trusted in Jesus to forgive me of my sins. Jesus lived a perfect sinless life, was crucified, buried and rose again, and if I believe in this and trust in Him I am saved.

I grew up in a fundamental KJVO IFB* church. They measured the length of women's skirts and men's hair. Ladies were not to wear pants or open-toed shoes. Dancing, movies, pop music, card playing were all "worldly" sins. No mixed gender swimming and the boys had to wear a tee-shirt. A very legalistic congregation.

I now attend a large non-denominational (formerly Baptist) church. So I guess I would be categorized as a Baptist. Not ashamed of it whatsoever. Oh, and unless you couldn't guess I am not a Cal--, a Cal--, a Cal---, ....a member of a Reformed church.

*Independent Fundamental Baptist. And yes, I know I said "fundamental" twice.

what church are you affiliated with?

I moved from one state to another and visited one church thus far.
In California, I attended a Non-Denominational church, which preached
Paul's, Grace Message. It preached the "Pre-trib Rapture."
It also believed in "Mid acts Dispensation." It believed that the
Bible was inspired of God. It didn't believe in water baptism.

It believed in only one baptism for today, that being, the Baptism
of the Holy Spirit. It didn't believe that tongues was for today.

Any other questions?

In addition, the baptism of the Holy Spirit comes after we place
our faith in Christ as our Savior. It's when the Holy Spirit baptizes
us into the Body of Christ.

New Life Mission, I associate with them. They are non-denominational. They believe that a saint has no sin, and that jesus blotted out all sin through being baptized first to take all sin, and then crucified after to judge all sin through his blood.

Anywho if anyone wants to know my faith then they can just ask.

Thanks.
