When does one become part of the body of Christ?

Yes, because Christ is the EMBODIMENT of the Gospel, and Christ is the Power of God (1 Cor 1:24).

Sorry, can't get off from truth.

Plugged in to Christ - the ONLY source of power, first before one can have the power to do the act of "Calling". Plug that electric bulb first to the source of power, then it will shine. It does NOT shine first so it could be plugged in.

How can they hear UNLESS they first have the power to hear?

"The heavens declare the glory of God."

People have the power to hear. Like a mouth can taste good food, so too can the heart taste truth.

It is up to them if they want to listen.

Nope.

You have already said that "see" & "hear" first, then one "believes". But BEFORE one can "see" or "hear", he must first be PLUGGED IN to the ONLY source of power - Christ. Without Christ first and foremost, all human acts are NOTHING. John 15:5

And in numerals NOTHING is ZERO (0). Without Christ the ONLY (1) source of Power, "see", "hear" & "believe" are all "0","0", & "0". But with Christ FIRST & FOREMOST, they become "1000".

Samie thinks people are so dead they cannot hear or believe, but that would mean that man has an excuse while God says man is without excuse.

Romans 1:20
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

God also says, "How can they hear without a PREACHER?" Oops....Samie must not have thought of that minor detail. It does NOT say, "How can they hear unless they're 'plugged in?'"

Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

They preach, of course, THE GOSPEL....which is the power of God unto salvation....as Samie has been told over and over again.

Romans 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

And HEARING, of course, comes from the WORD OF GOD....THE GOSPEL (which is the power of God unto salvation.

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

People don't get "PLUGGED IN" at all. Please don't encourage that nonsense Samie keeps spewing out.
"PLUGGED IN" simply means "attached to" or "connected to".

You don't agree with the term "PLUGGED IN" because it exposes the falsity of what you teach: That even if one has no connection with Christ he can do SOMETHING - he can hear and believe. After which he becomes connected to Christ Who said people can do NOTHING when NOT in Him.

You are fond of having the cart before the horse.

When one is not part of the Body of Christ, that is, one is NOT connected with Him, or NOT PLUGGED IN to Him, he is spiritually dead because Christ is our life (Col 3:4). Glorydaz believes the teaching of Robert Pate that people can hear and believe even if they are yet spiritually dead, not yet PLUGGED IN to Christ.

Like most other preachers, Pate teaches that people have the power to do SOMETHING even if NOT PLUGGED IN to the ONLY Source of power - Christ Who is the power of God.

KJV 1 Corinthians 1:24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

It is only when people are in Christ that they have access to the power to do SOMETHING because they are now attached to Him Who is our Strength (Phil 4:13), the ONLY Source of power.

KJV Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

With His power, people can overcome evil with good (Rom 12:21): they can believe and overcome the evil of unbelief; they can hear and overcome the evil of not hearing the words of God; they can repent and overcome the evil of being impenitent, etc.

And overcomers will Christ NOT blot out from the book of life (Rev 3:5) and will be seated with Him on His throne even as He Himself also overcame and sat down with the Father on His throne (Rev 3:21).

When Christ comes again to reward each one according to what each has done (Matt 16:27; Rev 22:12; Rom 2:5-11), all whose names remain written in the book of life will be allowed entry to the heavenly portals; all NOT blotted out will have their portion in the lake of fire (Rev 20:15).

Again:

You have not tried even once to explain how one, while not PLUGGED IN to the ONLY Source of power: Christ, can have any power to do any act of obedience.

Where did you get the power to obey if not yet PLUGGED IN to Christ Who is the only source of power?

The power is in the message---by doing what he says in the message.

If you can hang on to that for a while and consider it more carefully you might find the truth.

Acts 10:22
"Cornelius the centurion has sent us," they said. "He is a righteous and God-fearing man with a good reputation among the whole Jewish nation. A holy angel instructed him to request your presence in his home, so that he could hear a message from you."

Acts 11:14
He will convey to you a message by which you and all your household will be saved.'

Acts 18:8
Crispus, the synagogue leader, and his whole household believed in the Lord. And many of the Corinthians who heard the message believed and were baptized.

How does the logos, the word of God, scripture call it?
