The incident of the adulterous woman was before THEN.
The law was still in force.

The Law as in force when every OT saint died and everyone of them was saved the same way we are today i.e by the shed blood of Jesus and HIS payment for their and our sin.

I seem to remember the rock they ( OT ) drank from was Jesus. Why place limits on God ? He can do as He pleases. God is NOT bound by OT law.If He was HE would have never allowed Moses to OK a bill of divorce, which was never His intent. He only allowed it because of the hardness of man's heart.

Are we saved by Jesus' death? After all anyone can die and be resurrected.

His death was the payment for our sin against God.

READ the rest death, burial, and resurrection.

Having fulfilled ALL of the LAW Jesus was sinless, and Holy. His sacrifice was accepted by God as payment for our sin for those that place their faith in Him and ONLY Him.

He's not even trying to make coherent points. Just stringing unconnected words and concepts together to form sentences.

Now start a thread on what people think of charismatics who claim that they, as a group, possess all the apostolic era sign gifts.

Correct and the LAW was fulfilled by Jesus who lived a sinless life and paid for our sin by His death @ Calvary;otherwise, no would could be saved.

NO ONE has ever been saved by the LAW and no one will ever be saved by trying to keep the LAW.

The law was given by Christ to establish peace and order in the community. The law was not given to establish salvation.

Believers were not prohibited from keeping the law.

Acts 21:20 And when they heard it they glorified the Lord. And they said to him, "You see, brother, how many myriads of Jews there are who have believed and they are all zealous for the law..."

Ummm.
You are the one that has said that the new did not replace the old till Jesus came out of the tomb.
Even by your very own testimony, the law was still in force during the incident of the adulterous woman, because Jesus had not yet walked out of the tomb by then.
The very question that they ask of Jesus is about the law and what the law said about condemning an adulterous woman. (John 8:5)
And at that time, Jesus was under the law.
We cannot deny that Jesus was born in His earthly flesh & blood body UNDER THE LAW. (Gal 4:4)

His death was the payment for our sin against God.

The Father reconciled everyone in heaven and on earth to himself through the blood of his Son.

This saved no one. We are not not not saved by Jesus' death.

How do you ever get that the law was not given for salvation?

Jesus came and preached the guidelines for the new law, the New Covenant, and then he shed his blood for the New Covenant.

Jesus is the Word of God and what Jesus says to do and what not to do...those words are LIFE.

If you believe Jesus, it is equivalent to drinking his blood.

If you obey Jesus' teachings, it is equivalent to eating his flesh.

If you drink his blood and eat his flesh, Jesus will give you pure water to drink.

The pure water to drink is the Holy Spirit.

Jesus taught the new law.

Jesus says no eye for eye and tooth for tooth.

Jesus says if someone steals your cloak, give him also your tunic.

That is about the needy stealing to survive. It is about those who used to be put to death for stealing.

Jesus also taught other things that were changes from the old law.

Jesus said it is not what you eat that makes you unclean, it is what comes out of you.

The old law said what went in you made you unclean, such as eating pork.

Jesus also changed the divorce guidelines.

Jesus made hating your brother as murder.

Jesus changed the old law in many ways. He taught the new law, the New Covenant, and then he shed his blood for the New Covenant.

Blood Covenants must be followed exactly.

It's a teaching of Paul. The OT Christians were not saved by the works of the law and NT Christians are not saved by works. We are saved by grace through faith. Our faith is demonstrated by what we say and do.

You have no idea what you are talking about.

The Old Testament people were saved by believing and obeying God.

The New Testament people are saved by believing and obeying God.

Nope, no one can earn their way into the kingdom. It is only by God's grace through faith.

Jesus taught the new law. Jesus did not teach circumcision of the flesh. Jesus did not preach special dietary laws. Jesus did not preach the observance of special days...Jesus fulfilled those things.

Jesus told his disciples to do what the Pharisees and teachers of the law said to do because they were in charge. The earthly temple was still standing, and those who rejected and hated Christ enforced the old law. Jesus did not want all his disciples killed already.
