What Does it Mean to be Born Again?

Those Chosen In Union with Christ from Eternity to be God's Adopted Sons Eph. 1:4-5 are born children of wrath as others, but being His Vessels of Mercy Rom. 9:23 shall in time be Given a nature that identifies them as a Child / Son of God Eph. 2:1-10!

1 Pet. 1:3-5

3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away,
reserved in heaven for you,

5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

God did not chose people to be saved and not others before they were ever born. That goes against the nature of God.

All people sin and God does not make some people worse sinners so that they won't be saved.

"I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. Revelation 2:2-5 (KJV)

What does that mean for the Christian of today? How can it be applied to include him?

I love that scripture. That scripture is about people who were saved, they were saved and know God, but time went on and they became sounding gongs and forgot about how much they loved God. They still spoke truth about God, but they forgot about the joy of the love that is inside them.

Jesus is encouraging those who loved him so much to get back to the love and not be just a sounding gong.

Son's of God are not born of the flesh. They are born of the Spirit.

Those born of the Spirit were chosen to be saved because of the obedience of their heart, their humbleness, their submission, their repentance of sins and willingness to do what God says to do.

To DENY that Jesus has victoriously defeated sin, death and the devil, is to deny that Jesus is Lord, Colossians 2:15.

To DENY that Jesus has provided salvation for everyone by his life, death and resurrection is a denial of the Gospel and justification by faith.

All that deny the work of Christ as our only means of salvation are under condemnation and the judgment.

Jesus worked while on earth too, while he taught the new covenant; yet, you say that is not for us. You preach against obedience to the words and work Jesus did while he walked the earth. God, did, not, nail, obedience to Him to the cross.

"Spiritual maturity is not reached by the passing of the years, but by obedience to the will of God. Some people mature into an understanding of God’s will more quickly than others because they obey more readily, they more readily sacrifice the life of nature to the will of God, they more easily swing clear of little determined opinions. It is these little determined opinions, convictions of our own that won’t budge, that hinder growth in grace and makes us bitter and dogmatic, intolerant, and utterly un-Christlike".. . . Either time soon, or later, those who are bitter and angry but speak truth, they have forgotten their first love.

The fact remains. There are multiple scriptures teaching that salvation is a free gift from God that can be received or rejected.

The fact remains. There are no scriptures anywhere in the Bible that teach that God imposes salvation on anyone.

You are a heretic that is totally and complete out of the faith. The Bible plainly teaches that salvation is by grace (God's goodness) by faith.

If I were you I would not be able to sleep at night knowing that you are in conflict with God's word.

And you should not sleep well yourself for condemning the son who did what the Father wanted.

See the parable of the two sons.

Receiving or rejecting is a work of the flesh that cannot please God.

Salvation is not of works, but according to God's Purpose and Grace given to all His Elect before the world began 2 Tim. 1:9; Eph. 3:11!

You don't get it. "The Just Shall Live By Faith" Romans 1:17. Living by faith does not mean living by laws, rules or religion. It means living and believing that Jesus justifies the ungodly, Romans 4:5.

You are the one who does not get t. The saved live by every word from God.

Matthew 4:4: But he answered and said, it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. and Luke 4:4: And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

That is what Jesus said to Satan.

Do you really want to keep saying what Satan says?

Chamber was a Calvinist. Why quote man when you can quote the Word of God?

You are not living by faith. You are living according to the law and religion.
