War is just the extension of peaceful political action. It becomes necessary when communication breaks down and/or civil reasoning is no longer an option. I do think that some profit from war (well they think they do because they have let the love of money override other priorities) and are therefore trigger happy, but that has always been the case throughout the history of the world.

I'm not saying that war I NEVER justified. But what I'm saying is when some group is taking over Syria, it's not necessary for America to fight them. You see Iraq, Jordan, Egypt and now Iran getting fed up with ISIS. Let them handle it. If they can't, it will be Europe's problem before ours. Surely Europe and the Middle East cab defeat ISIS. I'm disputing this notion that America has to do it because ISIS is a threat to us. No. ISIS is a threat to Syria and Iraq. Maybe to Europe someday. They can take care of it.

Since this is a thread about Ron Paul, why don't you defend him and his Libertarian stance on Islam or other issues like abortion, homosexuality, recreational drug legislation, porn (kiddy porn included) prostitution and open borders. Why aren't more people going overseas to fight ISIS? About 100 Americans have gone over to Iraq to fight ISIS. If they're this much of threat, I would think you guys that are so afraid would at least go defend yourselves.
