"OSAS" people are not answering this question.

Well I have seen you address scriptures. It just seems that you tend to get into unsupported proclamations of your faith in MAD.

From the post I have read I have learned something - about how you try to rally support against people you disagree with. It is social pressure like saying "Let's all pile on X" That one way of fighting someone but it hardly qualifies as a "reasoned defense" of the faith. Many people in history who were lone voices turned out to be right.

To answer your question, I have read the entire Bible many times. After all that I believe more than ever that MAD is based on a faulty system of interpretation that which leads a person to read meanings into passages that are not there.

I am surprised to see you citing Matthew 7:13. Isn't that part of the Gospel of the Kingdom written "to us but not for us?"

Whereas Christ is speaking to the House of Israel, He does make
comments that relate to all. Also, He speaks of future events that
"will" occur and have significance that relate to both Circumcised
and uncircumcised.

You've been spoiled by philosophies of men and van deceit after the rudiments of the world and not after Christ (Colossians 2:8 KJV) as your "faulty interpretation" leads you to insert yourself into all of the passages of the Bible, but you simply are not there. None of that which is written outside of Romans through Philemon was to you directly! The very fact that people like you and me (Ephesians 2:11-12 KJV) were made nigh by the blood of Christ (Ephesians 2:13 KJV) was in other ages not made known, hidden in God and UNSEARCHABLE in the OT!

Ephesians 3:1 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

Ephesians 3:2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

Ephesians 3:3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

Ephesians 3:4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

Ephesians 3:5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

Ephesians 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

Ephesians 3:7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

Ephesians 3:8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

Ephesians 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Ephesians 3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

Ephesians 3:11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

Ephesians 3:12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

And is to this day being hid from the people in the religious, denominational systems all over the world by these:

2 Corinthians 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

2 Corinthians 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

I did not mean you personally. I do not know by what route you came to believe in this system of beliefs that has come to be called MAD. I was speaking about how Biblical terms have been understood in Christendom since it's earliest days and in the grand scheme MAD has been absent. Now while that in itself does not make it wrong, it certainly makes it highly suspect. However, I feel all this about MAD, such as the denial of commonly accepted practices like Baptism wanders far afield of the topic which is about OSAS

Paul beseeches us to walk worthy of the vocation wherewith we are called, endevouring to keep the unity of the faith which includes only ONE BAPTISM. Why do you not want us to keep it in favor of "commonly accepted practices"?

Ephesians 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

Ephesians 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

Ephesians 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Ephesians 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

Ephesians 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

Ephesians 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Sense that is common should tell you that what Jesus says is for everyone, not just for the Jews, as many here keep saying. Jesus is the Savior of the world; and what he says if for everyone.

John 4:42 They said to the woman, "We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world."

Common sense should also tell you that we are to obey Jesus and believing alone is not enough. Who but the devil would say, "We do not have to obey, just believe"?

Jesus' words are life. Jesus is the Way to life.

Have you ever gotten anywhere in life by just believing and not doing?

No way, for we have to believe and obey.

The others here say just believe we do not have to obey; and, what Jesus said when he walked the earth were just for those with the Jew ethnicity. NONSENSE! Jesus is not divided, and he is for all who fear God and do right by obeying him, see Acts 10:35, and 1 Corinthians 1:13.

John 1:13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.

Did you read that? That is John,the John you say spoke only to the Jews; yet what does he say? He says NOT BY HUMAN DESCENT. That means not by being blood related to Abraham.

The best NIV translation of all is the NIV 1984.

The Weymouth has some excellent scriptures that are more enlightened than other translations, as does the NET.

As for the Old Testament, I would not be without the KJV.
So you like a "translation" that INSERTS words that are NOT THERE?

This could explain some of your confusion.

Like these word of Jesus?
Mat 10:5-6 KJV These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: (6) But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

No. That's not the Bible saying we need to work for our eternal
existence in Heaven. It's you and the devil that are saying that.
