It's a coinflip. They have a good chance.

The Patriots will definitely be favored, probably as much as a TD.

The Steelers are hot, they've won 9 in a row, and played the Patriots tough earlier in the year without Roethlisberger.

However, Belichick and Brady have tortured the Steelers since 2001.

With this year's Super Bowl being played in Houston, and the Cowboys having the #1 seed, the Cowboys would have never had to leave the state of Texas in the post-season.

But........it all folded like a house of cards.

One plus for the Steelers against the Patriots is that the Patriots will not have Gronk.

Gronk (who went to high school in Pittsburgh), has always done very well against the Steelers.

The Steelers, Patriots, and Falcons all have the same game plan that Garrett did not follow. Keep Rodgers on the sideline.

Whether it will be Brady or Roethlisberger who makes it to the Super Bowl, it will mark the 14th time in the last 16 seasons that either Brady, Roethlisberger, or Manning has been the AFC's starting QB in the Super Bowl.

Or pay off the refs like Green Bay did!

Jerry, the refs didn't put your Cowboys in a 21-3 hole.

The refs didn't make Rodgers complete a 36 yard pass to the sideline with 3 seconds left.

Quit whining....your Cowboys lost fair and square to the Packers.

Also, did I mention that the Steelers have won as many playoff games in the last 8 days as the Cowboys have in the last 20 years?

The Steelers are just the 6th team to win a post-season game without scoring a TD.
That's going to look great on a t-shirt. :plain:

You should put that on the back of the shirt.

Don't forget the interception though. He was supposed to throw none, and keep his streak alive of consecutive touchdowns without an interception (Brady's record of 28 stands), but he threw it right to the defender, as opposed to Brady, whose two picks were both tipped---dumb luck. In order for anybody to have a chance against GB, Rodgers was going to have to stop playing out of his skull, and maybe he's done so.

So the line opens at -6 for the Patriots and -4 for Atlanta. I'm betting the line for New England is going to move upward, but as it stands I'd jump on it and lay the points on Atlanta too, if more nervously. :noid:

I was thinking this would be a good shirt to wear this week:

Of course much to the chagrin of folks who think this, no credible professional sports writer thinks the Patriots' recent success (the last 15 years) is due to anything other than good football. :D

I will be pleased if your pick to win the game turns out correct, no matter the score. Of course you know that.

I agree with that!

Since you have been so accurate on your picks I have the upmost confidence that the Cowboys will win today!

Thanks
!

As the great, humble, brilliant saint John W predicted, the Cowboys would exit early....look forward to the draft.

Contrasts....

You're late...like the Cowboy's rally. :plain: But at least you get to enjoy it for a moment.

And I called against them on the spread, which is the only thing that interests me when my team isn't playing. You should try that. A guy with a coin can do all right staying in the W/L pool.

Don't just be that guy. :nono:

But John W called it very early, that Dallas would have no trophy for this season's exemplary effort on their part.
