Listen to the heart..

Have you learned the shema?

Do you know this far?

Deuteronomy 6:4 NASB - 4 "Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one!

See the following. I invite you to read the scripture referenced in this link. I currently do not know all of the shema by heart.

Judaism 101: Shema

Indeed, since a student of religious truths and principles considers the great prayers and concepts shared in all traditions and cultures, they being universal in nature.

The Shema is a call for God's people towards 'community', a heart awakening to worship The One true Creator, which also recognizes the creative intelligence and spirit of life that permeates creation. There is no other source but that One....the One and Only life, light, essence, being, consciousness...of all and all. 'God', the sole absolute reality and source-potential of all that exists. Every reading of this prayer calls to mind the unity at the heart of Creator and Creation.

Since God is the king of the universe,....the name of his kingdom is also revered forever. This blessing is also mirrored in the Lord's Prayer....and the salutations before the throne.

"Blessed be the Name of His glorious kingdom for ever and ever"

"For yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever and ever"

Aumen.

Enjoy these wonderful sisters singing the Shema :)

This is a common Christian answer- when Jesus comes again, then the prophecies will come true. But that is an admission that he did not fulfill the prophecies. If somebody in another religion made the same claim about their leader/prophet/god - you would call it a "cop-out"- or worse.

You are correct. Jesus did not fulfill any of the Messianic Prophecy of the Hebrew Scriptures.
The reality is that we have no evidence that Jesus accomplished anything to improve mankind's life here on earth beyond dying for the sins of the world. Any skeptic can strongly argue that there does not exist any evidence that sins have been forgiven. Belief is really having faith.

You do not understand the truth.

Matthew 5:17-20 NASB - 17 "Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. 18 "For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 19 "Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 "For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.

This is where you fail to show that it's 'kaballah' and yet still pretend you're right and hadn't just pulled something right out your rear

From the "Zohar" - the Book of Light which is kabbalah:

Chapter 1

1. With 32 wondrous paths of Wisdom engrave Yah, and create His universe (did Jah, engrave his name) with three books, with text, with number, and with communication (Sound).

2. Ten Sefirot plus twenty two letters: Three Mothers, Seven Doubles, and Twelve Elementals.

3. Ten Sefirot of Nothingness: The number of the fingers, five opposite five, (as there are in man five fingers over against five) with a single covenant precisely in the middle, like the circumcision of the tongue and the circumcision of the membrum (phallus) (by word of mouth, and by the circumcision of the flesh).

4. Ten Sefirot of Nothingness: Ten and not nine; ten and not eleven. Understand with Wisdom, and be wise with Understanding. Examine with them and probe them, make a thing stand on its essence, and make the Creator sit on his base (replace Him who formed it upon his throne).

5. Ten Sefirot of Nothingness: Their measure is ten which have no end. A depth of beginning, a depth of end; a depth of good, a depth of evil; a depth of above, a depth below; a depth east, a depth west; a depth north, a depth south (6 directions in space). The singular Master, God faithful King, dominates them all from His holy dwelling until eternity of eternities.

6. Ten Sefirot of Nothingness: Their vision is like the "appearance of lightning", their limit has no end. His Word in them is "running and returning" [The Word is in them as they rush forth and as they return.] They rush to his saying like a whirlwind, and before His throne they prostrate themselves.

7. Ten Sefirot of Nothingness: Their end is embedded in their beginning, and their beginning in their end, like a flame in a burning coal. For the Master is singular, He has no second. And before One, what do you count?

8. Ten Sefirot of Nothingness: Bridle your mouth from speaking and your heart from thinking (meditate). And if your heart runs, return to the place, as it is written, "The Chayot running and returning" (the living creatures ran and returned) (Ezekiel 1:14). Regarding this a covenant was made.

9. Ten Sefirot of Nothingness: One is the Breath of the Living God, blessed and benedicted be the Name of the Life of worlds. Voice, Breath and Speech. This is the Holy Breath (Ruach HaKodesh).

10. Two: Breath from Breath (from the Spirit He produced Air). With it engrave and carve twenty-two foundation letters - three, Mothers, seven Doubles, and twelve Elementals - and one Breath is from them.

11. Three: Water from Breath. With it engrave and carve chaos and void, mire and clay. Engrave them like a garden plot, carve them like a wall, cover them like a ceiling.

12. Four: Fire from water. With it engrave and carve the Throne of Glory (cube), Seraphim, Ophanim, holy Chayot, and Ministering Angels. From the three establish His dwelling, as it is written, "He makes His angels of breaths (spirits), His ministers from flaming fire" (Psalms 104:4).

13. Five: With three of the simple letters seal "above". Choose three and place them in His great Name: YHV. With them seal the six extremities (directions in space). Face upward and seal it with YHV.
Six: Seal "below". Face downward and seal it with YVH.
Seven: Seal "east. Face straight ahead and seal it with HYV.
Eight: Seal "west". Face backward and seal it with HVY
Nine: Seal "south". Face to the right and seal it with VYH.
Ten: Seal "north". Face to the left and seal it with VHY.

14. These are the Ten Sefirot of Nothingness. One is the Breath of the Living God. Breath [from Breath], Fire [from water, and the extremities], up, down, east, west, north and south.

Other traditions having similarities simply illustrates man's common ascent from Adam and Eve. Even Noah and the Deluge appears in the literature of other cultures, including many Asians who largely were separate from biblical history altogether.

You should try seeing things from a broader perspective.

The Scriptures say nothing about speaking the letter YHWH as being the breath of God. That is mysticism, pure and simple, which according to God is witchcraft aka incantations. I will stick with His actual words in Scripture. Thanx.

Oh Jesus WAS sent to bring peace and knowledge of God. If the world acted according to his teachings, there would be world-wide peace, and everyone would know God. But this was known and taught by Christ...that the world would not accept his teachings. The whole earth WILL know when he comes the final time, and evil will not be tolerated any longer. The nations have had 2,000 years to get it right, and their time is up.

No, Jesus did not come to bring world peace. He said, My peace is not what the world gives. It is for those in Him, only. Peace reigns eternally in Him regardless of what is happening on earth.

Jesus knew that the Shema was the most important of all the commandments.
28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?
29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: [Mark 12:28-29]
Jesus is referring to the shema here.

Slow down. You're right, but not about Jesus being God. Jesus DIED, and God cannot die. Jesus was a man, but a PERFECT man. Not God.

The NT never stated that God died. God did not die, but Jesus who was God manifest in the flesh, died. Jesus died physically, but He remained God, committed His Spirit to the Father and on the third day where He body lay in the grave, raised Himself from the dead, as commanded by His Father. Don't let the mystery of it throw you into a tailspin.

Isaiah 53:10 King James Version (KJV)
10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

“he shall see his seed”

Seed.. Strong’s #2233 Zehrag in Hebrew
Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew and English Lexicon, gives agricultural definitions for the Hebrew word for “seed” and the definition, semen virile, offspring.

In the Septuagint Greek translation “seed” is translated with the Greek word “sperma” which indicates a clear meaning for seed in this verse.

Since Jesus never married according to Christian Tradition, this “seed” cannot apply to Jesus.

In instances in the Bible where “spiritual children “ are mentioned the Hebrew word “behn” Strongs # 1121 is used in contrast to the word “zehrag” which clearly refers to offspring of a sexual union.
For Example..
Deuteronomy 14:1 King James Version (KJV)
14 Ye are the children of the Lord your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.

Children of God are the seed of Jesus Christ aka believers.

But here is a very important verse in Isaiah 53. Take out your KJV and lets look at this one together.
Isaiah 53:9 (King James Version)
And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

Do you see the enormous problem with this verse? Reeeealllllly BIG.

Is 53:9 says....""he made his grave with the wicked""
But Jesus made his grave with the RICH. He was buried in the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea. His grave was NOT with the wicked.

Is 53:9 says....""with the rich in his death""
But Jesus was with the WICKED in his death. The two evildoers on the crosses on either side. Jesus was NOT with the rich in his death.

Grave with the wicked simply means He died, His physical body in the grave like a humanbeing. But God promised His body would not see corruption [per David]- that is why He was raised the third day.

Matthew uses the phrase "Kingdom of Heaven" 31 times in his gospel. However the other Gospel writers never use the phrase "Kingdom of Heaven." Instead they use the phrase "Kingdom of God" as a equivalent term for "Kingdom of Heaven." IMO there is no hint in the Hebrew Scriptures that God's kingdom is a heavenly kingdom. Messianic prophecy speaks of a kingdom of this world. As such Matthew's use of "kingdom of Heaven is just a substitute phrase because of the Jews reluctance to use the title "God."
Jesus made this point when he taught his disciples to pray...Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Grave with the wicked simply means He died, His physical body in the grave like a humanbeing. But God promised His body would not see corruption [per David]- that is why He was raised the third day.

According to Mark, the women purchased the spices after the Sabbath……..Mark 16:1
“”When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, so that they might come and anoint Him.””

According to Luke, the women purchased the spices before the Sabbath..Luke 23:56
“”Then they returned and prepared spices and perfumes And on the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment.””

But according to John, Nicodemus brought the spices to the burial. John 19:39
“”Nicodemus, who had first come to Him by night, also came, bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred pounds weight.””

So to recap………
Mark says the women purchased the spices after the Sabbath and on Easter Sunday they brought the spices to the tomb.
Luke says the women purchased the spices before the Sabbath and on Easter Sunday they brought the spices to the tomb.
John says Nicodemus brought the spices to the burial, very roughly three days before Easter Sunday. The women were at the burial, so if this story was for real, they knew about the 100 LBS of spices that supposedly Nicodemus had brought. Does one suppose that when the women came on Easter Sunday, they were bringing more spices because 100LBS was not quite spicy enough? Does one suppose that the women expected to unwrap the corpse, add some salt and pepper, and then rewrap the corpse?

Of course, I wonder why they bothered to spice the corpse in the first place. The Apostle Paul often quoted Psalm 16:10 and claimed it was about Jesus...
“”For You will not abandon my soul to Sheol; Nor will You allow Your Holy One to undergo decay.””
I wonder if the early Christians expected God to keep Jesus from decay, or were they relying on lots of spices?

Isaiah 2:4 King James Version (KJV)
And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

Since the Messiah of the Hebrew Scriptures will bring world peace, are you asserting that jesus is not the legitimate messiah?
