Faith without works is dead. What does that have to do with YOU SAYING God enables people to hear and have faith? What does it have to do with being able to obey? .

Without faith it is impossible to believe God. Faith comes by hearing. Not all have ears to hear. God says you cannot please him without faith. You say you can obey God without faith. You are not obeying God if he is not pleased with you.

This relates to faith without works as follows:

If you think you have faith and produce no works, you are being deluded. In reality, you have no faith. If you have no real faith, you cannot please God and any imagined obedience is all in your mind.

And it's all starts with faith coming by hearing......hearing that is given by God.

You are the one who cannot defend your beliefs.

EXPLAIN NOW why God would need to harden anyone if they CANNOT hear and believe ANYWAY unless He enables them.

Explain false accuser.
Where did I say they cannot believe anyone? I said they cannot understand the words of God.

Truster,

This is your thread. Is it okay with you if I post a copy of my recounting of having been given faith in GOD?

Would you attempt to not be negative about it if you did decide to allow it?

Paul said they were broken off; he says nothing about being hardened

God cut off and hardened the Jews who did not have faith in Him BEFORE Jesus came.

Jesus came first for the lost sheep of Israel. Those are the people who belonged to God and He gave them to Jesus. They were God's and they now had to go through Jesus to remain God's.

Luke 19:42 and said, "If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace--but now it is hidden from your eyes.
Luke 8:10
He said, "The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, "'though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.'

John 12:40
"He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts, nor turn--and I would heal them."

Romans 11:8
as it is written: "God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that could not see and ears that could not hear, to this very day."
Matthew 13:14
In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: "'You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.

Mark 4:12 so that, "'they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!'"

Mark 8:17And Jesus, aware of this, said to them, "Why do you discuss the fact that you have no bread? Do you not yet see or understand? Do you have a hardened heart? 18"HAVING EYES, DO YOU NOT SEE? AND HAVING EARS, DO YOU NOT HEAR? And do you not remember,
