Did Christ know He was fully God?

God is not an old man with a long white beard with a sonny boy in heaven always sitting on a throne.

When people insist God is like a human person, I have to ask then how did He get old in the first place, did God age?

Why would they be eternally siting on a throne, wouldn't that get boring?

Why would people care to go to heaven, if all they did for eternity is worship God and His son.

You see, to explain to very simple primitive people God had to make use of analogy and metaphor.

To understand the Bible one has to know why what is said is said to those who heard it first.

Jesus came to us the way He did for divine reasons. He could have just said, "hello, I am God" Then, when they laughed and called Him crazy, He could have said, " alright watch this!" Then He could have taken the whole Roman empire and sent it into the sky, then crushed it in a little hamburger and ate it. Then people would have been terrified and worshiped Him in fear. He did not want to rule men in fear , but be loved in their hearts.

Good points, I feel the same way. God is spirit, an infinite, eternal spirit.

When we awake in the next life, we pick up where we left off in spiritual growth on this world. We will continue on in the endless adventure of service and growth, even after making our way to the eternal isle of Paradise, the geographical location of the eternal God.

There is no geographical location for God. Heaven is not humanly imaginable, and humans, for centuries, have look at heaven in human terms, which is all that is possible for us.

Even, on earth, those born into extreme wealth are not always happy, as happiness is when events occur where life improves in some way, from a lower point.

Most persons who are born into extreme wealth find other things about themselves to complain about, such as being too too large, or too small, or they dislike their face, or nose. Happiness always escapes us when all material things are available.

Heaven therefore cannot be streets of gold and material wonder. Heaven is not a place, or material essence.

I believe there is a literal Isle of Paradise. Were God to move from his dwelling place, the universe would collapse. However yes, people do conceptualize using what they know like gold streets and precious stones. The Bible contains a lot of human speculation and conjecture about such things.

What say you?

He was the IAM/light in all coming into this world John 1:9, and like the prodigal/Divine seed that figuratively fell to the ground and died/divine amnesia/sleep/son of man/flesh and blood who was reborn by that Quickening Spirit/I AM, then pointed his carnal brethren to seek the kingdom within instead of in the visible. .

You have made an Idol/sugar pill out of the teacher when any righteous teacher tells his students they don't really need him after they have reawakened, only when they are still asleep in darkness/time/this world is it necessary to treat them like children Galatians 4:1 the least in the kingdom of heaven Matt 11:11, which is the state of most christians who are in this world and still of it instead of Luke 17:20-21, it's Matt 11:3 observational futurist dazzed and confused/offended without a clue about the Eternal NOW of the unborn LIGHT in ALL Matt 4:17, 2Cor 3:6 Galatians 4:24, Titus 3:9.

You mid actors claim to know the mystery and the meaning of repent but you only put some lipstick on the letter, instead of reconciling all of the body you leaven it with die-vision 2Timothy 2:13,Romans 11:31-35. .

I never said that. God is spirit. Spiritual things and beings are real. The material creation is from God, its energy manifested into forms. But spirit beings do have material locations. Paradise, the geographical location of the eternal God, is a material reality. It is a place in the central universe.

No.

He was son of a woman, does that mean he was a woman?

Man was made in God's image, male and female he made man for purposes of reproduction.

The biological reproduction was for spiritual reproduction.

The Father is reproducing himself.

You're invited to become a son of God, the Father.

The first part, you are right, God is Spirit. The last part is wrong, 'paradise' is not a place located in the center of the universe, it, like God, has no physical matter, such as what we tend to think of as places/locals.

Isaiah 45 KJV
"Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel. For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me. I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it. Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands? Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth? Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me. I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts. Thus saith the LORD, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee; and there is none else, there is no God. Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour. They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: they shall go to confusion together that are makers of idols. But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end. For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right. Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save. Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed. In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory." Isaiah 45:1-25 KJV

So, The LORD God in Isaiah is speaking, and says "That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear" to Him, that is, the LORD God.The LORD God is "none other" than the Lord Jesus Christ, as Philippians 2:9-11 KJV interprets Isaiah.

And survey....

"For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God." Romans 14:8-11 KJV

"The Lord", refers to "Christ", and the text is referring back to the same passage in Isaiah, verified by the statement in Romans, "For is written", and says "every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God."

The Lord Jesus Christ is God.

Accept it.

Devastating analysis. Open and shut.

I also really like reading the Scripture without verse numbers like how you have it here.

"Jesus is the spiritual lens in human likeness which makes visible to the material creature Him who is invisible. He is your elder brother who, in the flesh, makes known to you a Being of infinite attributes whom not even the celestial hosts can presume fully to understand. But all of this must consist in the personal experience of the individual believer. God who is spirit can be known only as a spiritual experience. God can be revealed to the finite sons of the material worlds, by the divine Son of the spiritual realms, only as a Father. You can know the Eternal as a Father; you can worship him as the God of universes, the infinite Creator of all existences." UB 1955
