Why do you claim to sin? Believers have been delivered from the law.

Romans 8:1-4
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Here are the key words, that are often missed out.

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, WHO WALK NOT AFTER THE FLESH, BUT AFTER THE SPIRIT

There is no condemnation to those who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

We are not to live after the works of the flesh but by the will of God, and if we walk after the Spirit, by the will of God then there will be no condemnation!

Minor detail....we cannot walk after the flesh if we are no longer in the flesh. If the Spirit dwells in us, we are not in the flesh. We do not live after the flesh or walk after the flesh because we are not IN flesh.

Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

We aren't half way anything. We are either sinner or saint, carnal or spiritual, in the flesh or in the spirit, children of darkness or children of light, old man or new man.

And if a person is truly born of God and if they truly walk in the Spirit, then you will see the life of Christ in and through them.

Many say that they believe and that they are born of God, or that they have the Holy Spirit. But the truth is, if that is so, then you will see this in their lives. If they're truly born of God, then they will be risen with Christ and they will not be of this world anymore, and Christ will be seen in their lives, and they won't be lovers of this world, materialism will mean nothing to them, and building up in this world will be the last thing on their minds and they will turn away from the works of the flesh. God will come first in their lives, and they will be full of the fruit of the Spirit. They will be full of love, mercy and forgiveness and always ready to do Gods will, they are the ones who truly bare witness to the truth, and in doing so, they worship God in Spirit and in truth.

So, you choose to ignore scripture and decide to give a speech?

You'll never know what the Bible says if you continue to pontificate as if you knew something.

I haven't ignored scripture, and I wouldn't call that much of a speech!

I've written regarding how I believe that those who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit live like, and how you will truly know those who are born of God and are in the Spirit.

Many say with their mouths that they believe and that they are born anew, but if they are telling the truth, then you will see it in their lives, their lives will be changed and they will be a new creature and the life of Christ will be seen through them, they will be putting off the flesh and putting God first in their lives before themselves, and caring not for the things of the world.

These are Gods true people.

Many just give lip service, and love their their flesh before God.

We can't serve God and mammon.

Jesus said this

Matthew 23

Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi. But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.

Proving my point....men do things to be seen of men.

You said the Pharisees looked good, no they didn't!

And my point is that those born of God don't do anything to please men, but live to please God and you will see this in their lives. In other words they won't be like that Pharisees, they will be more like Jesus!

And just after Jesus says that about the Pharisees, he said this.

Matthew 23

But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

I don't know what you mean by that?

But anyway, why is it wrong to say that if anyone is born of God, then you will see it in their lives and that they live to please God, and they will be more like Christ Jesus and not like the Pharisees?

Blameless under the law. Don't your read the Bible?

You're foolish. Whited sepulchres filled with dead men's bones.

Matthew 23:27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

And just after Jesus says that about the Pharisees, he said this.

Matthew 23

He didn't mean people like you who pretend to be humble.

And the Pharisees were just that, whited graves, all glorious in their long robes and traditions, but dead to God, they had no life in them or through them. False witnesses!

Just like all those today who profess to know God and don't live it out!

Which is why I said you can't tell by looking.

Instead of thinking you're a teacher, why don't you just try to dialogue with people?

It's getting a bit old having to listen to you correcting people with your canned messages...lecturing as if you have some great message to share. You seem to be stuck in the gospels....living life on a fleshly level. Do you ever read any of Paul's epistles?

Isn't there something from his epistles you might have some questions about? Or something you think it would be profitable to discuss?

By the way, if the Pharisees were blameless under the law, why did Jesus write this?

Matthew 23

But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in*yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

Woe unto you,*ye*blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!*Ye*fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?*And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty.*Ye*fools and blind: for whether*is*greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?*Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.*And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein.*And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier*matters*of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.*Ye*blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.*Thou*blind Pharisee, cleanse first that*which is*within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead*men's*bones, and of all uncleanness.*Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,*And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.*Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.*Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.Ye*serpents,*ye*generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
