As shown in earlier threads, the Republican Party has gradually accepted homosexuality over the years, but it came out in the open when rainbow flag waver/NYC liberal Donald Trump was nominated for and later became President.
There are many good people in the Republican Party, hopefully they will rid the Party of the libertarian influence that has taken over.

After libertarians and democrats that crossed Party lines to help Trump get the nomination and later the Presidency, Ted Cruz decided that maybe libertarianism is the way to go, i.e. he sold out conservatism in an attempt to gain favor with people who have hated him and will continue to hate him: libertarians.
