On what thought are the actions of Trump's base based?

He (trump) promotes fear of other, hatred and violence. Prolife does not (should never) promote harming, abusing and causing the death of children based on the color of their skin. (Babies and children in cages) ...

“Very fine people on both sides”.

I have eyes and ears. Do you? trump’s rallies intentionally fan the flames of resentment, disunity and fear of *other*. He inspires nutters like Cesar Sayoc ...

At this point I just mute the TV whenever he disgraces the nation with one of his whiny, deceit-filled diatribes.

Rally attenders obviously approve of the above listed actions or they wouldn’t attend his worship sessions aka rallies.

Frankly it’s like viewing a Jim Jones political version of Woodstock...

Of course you overlook the photos of children in cages which were taken during the Obama administration.

[Re: If Trump's base consists of zombies]

On what thought are the actions of Trump's base based?

And on what thought are the actions of Dems based?

How can someone who opposes abortion be pure evil?

And how can someone who has lowered unemployment rates (for all races) to record levels be pure corruption?

It's a good point. Trump is not evil in the sense that a comic book villian is evil. He does not value evil for evil's sake. He's venial. As long as it appears to do him some good, he likes it. So when abortion was favored by the public, he was an abortion supporter. Now that public attitudes are shifting, he's an abortion opponent. His overriding ethos is "what's in it for me?"

Let's see if anyone on this forum is actually supporting Pocahontas and her massive MediCare for all plan, which will bankrupt the USA.

What do you think should be done with people who need healthcare, but can't afford it?

Do you always answer a question with a question?

There are many things which can be done to lower medical costs. But the Democrats don't want to do any of them.

Commiecrat Warrens Free Medical care

Medicare for All excites Commiecrats and other varieties of communists/socialists/fascists/anti-capitalists/totalitarians. Take this: “To begin, her [Warren’s] plan covers everybody, with zero out-of-pocket expenses. ‘Medicare for All’ is a great brand. So is ‘Free Healthcare for Everybody.’ And that’s the central promise of the Sanders and Jayapal bills, and the Warren proposal as well. You get the doctors and caregivers and treatments you need, for free. That’s it. It is a deeply appealing vision (as evidenced by the enthusiasm that Bernie generates among the working class) that we can use to drive enormous turnout from voters who often stay home out of cynicism about what either party will do for them.”

Why do you question my questions instead of answering them?

Great! Like what, for example?

Medicare and Medicaid caused prices in the health sector to rise twice as much and more than other prices. The reason was that the payer is the government and selected consumers don’t foot the bills that they are causing.

Get them out of the picture entirely is a prerequisite to start fixing the problem.

Now we do have something that works at present, hospitals and health clinics that give away health services and the government does provide compensation to hospitals for treating these patients. It is in the form of Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) payments. Hospitals also write off bills for patients who cannot afford to pay, which is known as charity care, and this can be used as a framework to formulated a basic standard for any health care provider such as a base rate of 2-5%, which would open the way for much more charity care.

Now nonprofit hospitals are formally tax exempt, but you will find a great number do pay some amount of money to their state and local governments through 'payments in lieu of tax' (PILOT), so they could also work out a way to help the low income versus paying the tax.

Another way that would work is to set up low cost clinics and staff them with pre med and med school students to help them pay their student loans, it is better than nothing at all and this has been used. https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2013/11/letting-medical-students-run-the-clinic/281241/

He (trump) promotes fear of other, hatred and violence.

No, Trump fears no one, and so he does not promote fear in his followers, but rather fearlessness.

And he has never told anyone to hate or commit violence against anyone.

What he has done is expose false political views, and how they harm America.

Prolife does not (should never) promote harming, abusing and causing the death of children based on the color of their skin. (Babies and children in cages) ...

When did Trump order that, or become aware of that and say that it's okay?

And when was that done on the basis of skin color?

“Very fine people on both sides”.

He could not have been referring to white supremacists, for he has denounced them.

And not everyone on the right at that rally were supremacists.

That is the error and failure of Dems: trying to portray anyone who disagrees with them as being racists, when in fact "political correctness" is the most racist ideology ever invented, putting the color of one's skin above the content of one's character.

Blacks attend Trump's rallies in support of him precisely because they know that he is not a racist, but wants the best for them, as for all Americans.

And indeed he has brought about good things for blacks, such as their lowest unemployment level in history, while Obama failed to help them.

Trump fears MANY, as he should. Those who are honorable, capable, patriotic, intelligent, etc...

I have no desire to change the mind of anyone who blindly and willfully follows and acts as apologists for one of the most vile individuals ever born (trump).

Well, they won't really be "facing" him, but I'd say whoever is managing Biden's teleprompter and ear bud.

:rotfl:

Hmm, Trump on airports, the Spanish flu, injecting bleach etc etc. Wow, could he have done with a teleprompter or just someone to guide him off stage...
