Hi to all and some , believe that Jesus already came and they are like those of YES'TER-YEAR that Jesus came Spiritually OR were not qualified and were aLL ASLEEP and did not see Him come !!

Acts 1:6 reads ; They therefore indeed having come together were questioning Him saying , LORD , if at this Time are you Restoring the KINGDOM to Israel ??

In Acts 1:7 it was not for them to know when !!

#1 The first verb is in the Aorist tense , so we know that the context was during Jesus earhty ministry !!

#2 , The second verse " THEY ASKED " is in the Greek IMPERFECT TENSE and means that the disciples ask and never asked again !!

So we see that the Kingdom will be restored as Rev 20:6 Israel will become Priests of God in the Millennium !!

Sorry Dan it's not a good conclusion, not good logic. The topic does not matter any more. The mission started. When you read Acts 13, you find Israel's destiny fulfilled in the resurrection and being missionaries of it, v47. When you read Acts 26, Paul would like to help Israel see that the thing they hope for is already here.

No NT passage in ordinary language comes close to mentioning a millenium. There is just the scant symbolic material of Rev 20, and this generation seems to specialize in the scant and symbolic.

But if you read MAD posts, it's anybody's guess what you'll find.

Hi and it is correct and Preterism is like PENTCOSTALISM is set aside and you will NEVER can use sound reasoning as if all of Paul's letters be taken OUT , then all can then understand as it will be ALL Israel !!

You never explained what Acts 1:6 really means as you can not and LOL !!

Jesus referred to a millennium.

John 7:37 "On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, 'If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.'"

Plain as day.
